I have just had an email from Virgin confirming a rate increase on an ISA product which happened back on 11 May.  So maybe a while to go before they confirm the saver rate increase !

Did they say when the rate comes into effect ? - Presumably today ?

Introduce a market leading rate when your system can't cope with a stampede? I think that could be expected.
