I think quite a few may have taken their money out of Ford Money being the reason. I did like them the short time I was with them, but their slow payments transfers is so dated to others now. For this reason you would have thought they would have raised the rate even higher than they have. Its good to see its available to all again though.

Agree about the slow Vs fast transfers. Faster Payments is a huge consideration for me now………I hate having to wait for transfers either way, Ford Money and Charter Savings are good examples of this.0

My "lucky to have" 0.84% Tesco Internet Saver is looking very dated now 🤣

The way I use easy access accounts means I rely on immediate/instant transfer to my current account. I avoid those where it takes time. I use Invested (min £5000 to get the interest - 0.93%) or Marcus (1%) who both have instant transfer, even at weekend as I transferred some from Investec to my current account on Easter Sunday and it was instantaneous. I am happy to forgo some interest to have instant access0

The Investec Flexi Saver is the second lowest (of 6) easy access that I have and I only opened it yesterday as a temporary home for a pair of 1 & 2 year Investec fixes that matured today. I'll likely be closing it at the end of the month or leaving a fiver in it. All the others are instant access and don't have a requirement for £5,000 to gain interest. I'm not happy to forgo 60% extra interest when there are better accounts available without that restriction

Just had a notification from Moneybox that their Reward Savings account now pays 1.2%0
