Really pleased with Atom paying interest today a bank holiday
pity Marcus didn't do the same - my interest date with them is the 15th of each month, which this year fell on Good Friday... it still hasn't arrived yet, so assume it will be there tomorrow (as the next working day after today).

*Edit - think this account is no longer available to open. Apologies*

They seem to be running slower than usual today. A fairly large transfer from my current account to Marcus savings account has been AWOL for a couple of hours now. Similar transfers have taken just 5-10 minutes in the past.

    Zopa also pays interest monthly.

Cynergy, also at 1.2%, pays annually.

Can I open a joint account?

Not right now, but it may be something we offer in future.

If base rate increases to 1 percent in May. Could we see 2 percent easy access accounts? Not sure how this works

I daresay there will be another rush to increase savings rates, but the resulting actual best rates are hard to predict. The only thing which is reasonably certain will be Cynergy's new issues. They might then start having new accounts opening several times a week, giving us barely enough time to upgrade before the next issue arrives. I wonder if they might run out of account numbers to give customers?

I know what you mean; our list of closed Cynergy accounts is growing on the app along with our Financial Tracker but whilst rates are increasing then I guess we will play along.
