I moved a bulk amount out of Atom. I like Atom and its good to see an increase but not high enough rise to justify putting in back in there. Thought they may have competed more with Cynergy, Zopa or Tandem.
My money is switching between my accounts like a yoyo at present

why is sainsburys defined access saver (0.95%) not in the top 10? Is it because of the tiered rates, or the limit to 3 withdawals a year?

Went for Raisin bonus to go into Investec , opened account into Starling , very efficient, about forty minutes for checks .
transferred test amount , they note can take 24hrs to appear , 36 hours later nothing , details all checked and correct , whatever you do carry out a test transfer, I nearly forgot , I have no idea if this is usual for Raisin but when I tried phoning I got what I would call a tin pot connection so hung up .0 -

Molehusband said:I've just had a phone chat with their agent and was amazed by what they told me. They tell me that tomorrow (14th) the rate on my D31 is being increased to an amazing 0.85%. This is even significantly better than the 0.7% being offered on the new account I've just opened. They tell me they are not aware of any plans to increase the 0.7% rate on my newly opened issue 48.
I've just had an email saying my D48 easy account is changing to 0.85% as of the same 14th

I've just had an email saying my D48 easy account is changing to 0.85% as of the same 14thThe facts are slightly more complicated than you have suggested. The situation now is as follows:1 My 12-year old D31 savings account was indeed upgraded to 0.85% (for £1000+) on 14 April2 You are not correct in referring to a "D48" which doesn't exist. Until 14 April they offered an Issue 48 (I48) but that was withdrawn to new applications on that day. However the interest rate changed to 0.85% for existing customers.3 On 14 April they introduced a new I49 account paying 0.85% (£1000+)Reginald Molehusband0
