Just noticed that Tesco have increased the rate of their once top-of-the-table Internet Saver account to 0.71% but they're going to have to do quite a bit better than that at the moment !1

Are you saying that digital only means that it is not available for via a windows laptop but only via android.Daliah said:Chase UK 1.5% AER. Proper instant access account. Not for those without smartphone or tablet as it is digital only. Thanks to @andyhicks88 for the heads up.

'App only' would probably be a better term - there is no online banking facility via their website.littlemoney said:

Shame. I was going to apply but I only have a tablet with version 6 (too old) and my phone doesn't have space for another app. Digital discrimination. You need to be rich enough to have an up to date tablet or a phone with a large memory. They don't want people who can't afford the latest technology.Daliah said:

I recently bought new Samsung tablet but it is not compatible with the Chase app1

May I warn people that the Chase app does not have log out option. The app will close if there is no activity for couple of minutes.
Also, even if you leave/close the app and open within a minute app is still open with your account dashboard.
Additionally, I tried to deposit my usual "check authenticity of the bank details" with £10.00, my bank (First Direct) did not confirm the receiving bank (Chase) bank details.
I have reported both issues to the Chase bank through the message us.
I have been told to use another bank to deposit my money.
I will now have to open a new account if I want to deposit any money in Chase UK.0 -
Chase UK do not currently support the Confirmation of Payee scheme.The_Blacklist said:Additionally, I tried to deposit my usual "check authenticity of the bank details" with £10.00, my bank (First Direct) did not confirm the receiving bank (Chase) bank details.
They have said they will be adding it sometime this year.
Opening/using another account elsewhere to make deposits will make no difference.
You can ignore the lack of CoP message - just make sure you type in the details correctly.1 -
Not all banks or building societies can be checked by the new checking system just pay £1 and as long as you know you have input the right details confirm it. The banks scare the life out of you lately asking why you are making the payment with a list of why you are making the payment even for a £1
Plus Chase send you a notification when they receive your deposits if you have notifications switched on."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"1
