Not having used Chase bank before I searched to see “is Chase Bank regulated by the FCA” and found warnings by the FCA that there are clones being used by fraudsters using the name “Chase” two of which are “Chase Chartered Bank” and “Chase UK”

Also the real Chase Bank is NOT registered on the FCA register under that name.

They are registered as   “J.P. Morgan Europe Limited”

 

So take care.

Right, looks like all the cash in Club Lloyds, Vantage and Halifax Reward is about to be flung Chase's way.

That post about 2 scam Chase accounts gave me the wobbles though. Couldn’t find their FCA number on their Chase app just their trading name of J.P. Morgan Europe Limited. FCA needs to block them scam sites

So take care.

As long as you download the app from the AppleStore or from Google Play, there is nothing to worry about. I would hope that nobody would download their banking apps from any other place.

On Android at least you just press the back button from the main screen to log out. If you try to open the Chase app again after doing that it'll always ask you to login again.

Anyone tested payments into and out of the new chase savings account? My payment in about half an hour ago still not showing so just did another one into my chase current account and that showed instantly. Def sent the first payment to correct account details.

EDIT: it just arrived a minute or two after I posted this.

I have  - went in within a minute and I set up my payee and sent a payment and arrived under a minute
