With Santander not dropping their rate until May, surely the way to go will be a new easy access ISA for 2024/5. I would imagine £20,000 will be enough for the majority of people to take care of where to move their money. MONEYBOX is still offering 5.11% which is equal to 6.37% in an ordinary account if you pay tax on your savings and they also do a 5% relatively easy access account (just one withdrawal per month).3

How soon do you have to deposit £500 when you open a moneybox cash ISA. I have used up my £20K 23-24 allowance so would possibly be depositing 24-25`s new ISA money from 6/4/24. As this is a new offer (5/3/24) can I presume it will still be available in 4 weeks time so no need to open yet and also wait for potentially better rates in the upcoming "ISA" season.0

Exciting news re the house purchase. Hope it goes well.
Does that mean you’ll switch your focus to the House buying board?I’d like to be a fly on the wall when your conveyancer &/or mortgage lender does their AML checks on the source of your funds😳2 -

AFAIK, they don't force you to make an instant deposit upon opening one of their ISAs. So you could open it on, say, April 1, and then fund it from April 6 onwards. That should still secure you the bonus rate.
