    Hi

Anyone know if the 5.2% easy access from lady year included a bonus like this one?

    Cheers

Main story is the surprise entry of Wealthify, Aviva's robo-adviser pension platform, to take Tandem's crown in the True Instant EA table. Suppose this continues the trend towards personal finance providers offering "all-in-one" solutions covering savings, investments and now pensions.
Extremely interesting and helpful, thank you. I didn't realise Wealthify had an Instant Access Savings Account. They state the interest rate will automatically track the Bank of England base rate, minus a margin, currently 0.45%. They also reserve the right to vary the margin in line with their terms and conditions.

Of course, they also offer a
Stocks and Shares ISA, Junior Stocks and Shares ISA, and General Investment Account, as well as the savings and pension products. I opened a Wealthify GIA a few years ago to take advantage of an MSE offer and found them to be responsive and efficient.

I've just noticed (via the Chip website) that you can boost the APR on the Chip Instant Access account to 5.09% APR for 90 days.

You can do this either by referring a friend (if you already have a Chip account) or, if you are joining as a new customer, by using a referral code.

New customers do have to maintain a balance of £5k for 30 days for the higher rate to apply.

Interest is monthly and transfers are effectively instant (open banking) when you link the app to your main bank account.

more blurb from the chip app:
Start your wealth building journey with Chip.

To welcome you in, we’re giving you a 0.25% boost to your interest rate. Your exclusive 0.25% AER boost is applied on top of your existing Chip Instant Access interest rate (4.84% AER variable) for 90 days. All you need to do is join Chip now and deposit £5,000.00 or more into our Chip Instant Access Account. Hold your deposit for 30 days to qualify.

  • I'm looking for some help to find the best/highest interest paying easy access savings account which pays monthly interest and does not require internet or app to manage the account as the user of said account prefers branch and telephone access.  It would also be a bonus if the monthly interest is automatically paid to an external account.  Failing that, I need to be able to setup a standing order from the savings account to an external account.

Any suggestions?  Possibly some of you are using a savings account in this way.

    TIA.

Aren't you going to be limited to the institutions with accessible branches for the user?
