My 7% Santander rate is due to expire on or around the 25th January (a day before I usually get my interest).
I've been looking on this thread but can't find the posts about renewing at the same rate (or closing then re-opening) - who here has managed to do this successfully?0 -
There have been posts describing closing the account via live chat and reopening for another bonus term. No reason to think that loophole has been closed yet, but it could go at any time.Bazzalona13295 said:My 7% Santander rate is due to expire on or around the 25th January (a day before I usually get my interest).

Thankyou. I'll do it as near the 25th as I dare. I'll keep looking on here though.masonic said:

I got the email invite to renew on Sunday (which is one month before it was due to expire) - so if you're still more than a month away from your bonus expiry, that might explain why the option in the app is not yet available to you.dingling68 said:
Did you renew it on the app? I have looked but can't seem to find how?allegro120 said:Renewed my bonus rate on Tandem today just in case it will become useful in the next 12 months.1 -
Yes. I received an e-mail from Tandem saying that my bonus rate will expire on 7th Feb and I can renew it. I renewed it on the app and received confirmation e-mail "Congratulations on topping up the rate on your Instant Access Savings Account for another 12 months!".dingling68 said:

What account is this please? My Santander easy access is about 5.1%. Hope I’ve not missed a higher paying account!masonic said:

Leeds BS Limited Issue Online Access Account (Issue 54) - 5.10% (£1k min)
the only difference I can see is the interest maturity dates - Issue 53 matures on 2nd February 2025; Issue 54 matures on 2nd March 2025.btw - the word "Cynergy" is missing from #5 in your top 10.4 -
