HTB Issue 15 now showing as 5.15% for me :-)
Remember, existing customers can email existingcustomer@htb.co.uk to request. They say 3-5 working days but usually done in 1-2.1 -

Probably speaks more of the rather desperate situation they are in. Perhaps they are trying to stem the tide of money flowing away in light of the regulatory issues they are facing.patpalloon said:Things aren't looking too promising when Metro Bank is leading the best rates.

Part of the Ulster Bank application process asks for you to select a branch but I can't find any near me (London). What have other people selected?0

I just searched for a random place in Northern Ireland and a few different branches popped up. It doesn't really matter which branch you select so go for whichever takes your fancy.nekro9t2 said:Part of the Ulster Bank application process asks for you to select a branch but I can't find any near me (London). Your account will need to be opened at the Belfast City Office branch and your sort code will be 980060. You will be provided with guidance to select this branch as part of your application.

Apologies for the misinformation. I was thinking of their current account application and had assumed it would be the same for the savings account. My post has now been deleted. That'll teach me not to double check the terms and conditions before posting.BlackthornU said:

When did the increased interest rate appear in the app? I opened an account via the app yesterday and stuck £500 in. This morning the interest rate still shows as 1.64%. Oh and the 79p was what I had left in my old Marcus account. Thought I would close that one now.friolento said:tg99 said:Can you see current interest rate in the app or on online banking for the Metro savings account?
I can see it in the app. Probably also online but I don't log in there if I don't have to.[Removed by Forum Team]0
