Further to my earlier message about logging into Coventry, the issue seems to have been resolved.

Incidentally, I've now transferred my ISA twice in the last two weeks (the most recent one to Coventry) and in both cases the transfer completed the next day, so I'm pleased how quick the process now is. One reason why I'd only pick providers that use the electronic BACS service.
Blimey, one of mine took a month! All that lost interest.
I rarely switch unless it's a big difference in % interest so I would be interested to know how much difference financially all this switching makes ?
An extra £104 approx for me over the next year, that's the difference between not switching and switching. Assuming I don't switch again, don't withdraw any money and that the old and new ISA's stay at the same rates they are at present. For me it was just worth it!
LOL £2 a week and only if you don't switch again, wouldn't be worth the effort as far as I'm concerned

I don't switch my savings unless it's a good jump but I do switch current accounts for incentives

£1,700 soon to be £1,900 in less than a year

I think an EA switch for £104 is less than half the effort and less impact to your credit score.  So for me EA switching is much better value for money.
Don't worry about it, if Mike had accumulated that much from bank switches he won't be doing so again for a good few yrs as he must have had em all!

Investec Flexi Saver up to 4.7% AER (4.6% Gross). Another company who used to be competitive.

Yes, I liked using it when it was competitive, but not at those rates. £5,000 min balance for the interest doesn't help either

So about 3-5 months after downgrading my Edge current account, Santander have finally decided to downgrade my Edge saver. (with 2 months notice). Turns out they will actually bother to do it... eventually.

YBS Rainy Day Svr 5.00% to £10K then 3.90% on balance over (14/09)Product Details | Savings Product Finder | YBS

Nationwide FlexDirect 5% on £1.5k (1st year only) FlexDirect | In-credit interest current account | Nationwide

Given the relegation of the 5%-ers last week, the above smaller balance pots are no longer top rates. End of an era for Nationwide's FlexDirect.

I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.

... and coincidentally my 1 year (5%) Flex Direct anniversary (down to 1% in a couple of weeks), good while it lasted.
