The default iirc is £10k. Max is £25,000 per transfer to £100,000 per 24 hour period. There's a good chance of having a large amount in a day triggering security though, especially if there was no CoP available.Edit - setting is in "More" menu in app.
Changed it from the £5k default. Yay.1 -

The new issue of Coventry Limited may not be the highest paying today but If you have a previous issue and were considering using up one of the access this is an opportunity to transfer some or all to a new issue and reset to four access.
Also Coventry usually keep up with BoE rises. With the Issue 1 Santander account (Issue 3 is the one generating pages of comments at the moment) it took 2 months for others to catch up and was never really competitive again - it was 5 months before they increased the rate and then only twice more since. The next BoE is in a couple of weeks.

I'm just leaving it at zero balance and unused. As i've never had any issues with outward transactions being blocked from the account, I will probably use it to make withdrawals to my nominated account, rather than from the new issue. Also it serves as a record of all previous activity through the account, which is easier than having to search individual c/a pdf statements.
It took me less than a minute chatting with ‘Sandi’ to do it0 -

Santander staff can't see your names for the accounts, which caused confusion on telephone banking.
Then, I opened a starling account, where the staff can only see your names, after a telephone conversation with them in a public place, I regretted some of my choices....0
