Yep, same way via mobile app and yes old one had disappeared with closing funds back in my current account before I opened the new one. Anyway it’s all up and working and the account details and T&Cs turned up via email later this morning so all good.dealyboy said:Did you open them the same way? e.g. in internet banking? Ooh, thanks for that info. Hadn't studied all of the menu yet, and it still took a little while to spot that option.Rollinghome said:Freebird53 said:Would I be correct in thinking that Santander allows only £25000/day withdrawal? You can set your own transfer limit - see Payments and transfers > Manage transfer limit. The default iirc is £10k. Max is £25,000 per transfer to £100,000 per 24 hour period. There's a good chance of having a large amount in a day triggering security though, especially if there was no CoP available.Edit - setting is in "More" menu in app.
Changed it from the £5k default. Yay.1 -
Every single withdrawal I've made from my NBS tracker account has cleared into my nominated account the same working day. I was told by NBS to withdraw by 4pm for this to happen.2010 said:Anyone ditching or moving some money from NBS tracker beware the money doesn`t reach your nominated account until the following working day after transaction.1 -

Yes, me too, although like many others I have virtually emptied the account as what started off as an unbeatable rate now lags way behind.S_uk said:

The new issue of Coventry Limited may not be the highest paying today but If you have a previous issue and were considering using up one of the access this is an opportunity to transfer some or all to a new issue and reset to four access.
Also Coventry usually keep up with BoE rises. With the Issue 1 Santander account (Issue 3 is the one generating pages of comments at the moment) it took 2 months for others to catch up and was never really competitive again - it was 5 months before they increased the rate and then only twice more since. The next BoE is in a couple of weeks.
