Thanks. 4.6% doesn't make the ToTP ranks - but you're right - maybe useful to some.mebu60 said:@soulsaver

I think it's 2:30pm for telephone withdrawals
It's always been 9:30pm for online withdrawals since I've used them.1 -
Oh yes, and monthly now 4.82%. No change of issue number - mine still on 36.Barkin said:Just noticed that Shawbrook EA is now 4.93%1 -
Hi all, I've just noticed the TSB are offering a monthly saver account with 5% interest rate (£25 minimum deposit)
The 5% is fixed for a year, pay in £25 to £250 a month but after a year it stops the 5% and converts to only 1.35%
It's instant access and you already need to have a current account. Hope it helps someone.0 -
Re. Ford Money. I opened the account a few weeks ago and after fully funding it received request to send in proof of ID and UK residence. They insisted it be done via postal mail, any bank statement must be original (not printed PDF). I complied with everything they wanted, had to pay money for courier to deliver bank statement etc.
Sent them the lot, and they are still unhappy, saying it wasn't good enough.
I don't know what their problem is, but stay away from Ford Money, or they'll be pestering you with impossible requests.
Now, my understanding is, I can't "withdraw" funds, however, if need be - they'll simply return everything to my account used for deposit in any case. Therefore, same as a full withdrawal. Unless, they decide to do so without asking me.
You've been warned. Stay away from Ford Money!1 -
It’s a now poor Regular Saver that’s been around for a long time and not an Easy Access a/c so not for this thread, though you can make withdrawals/close.Donegal_Paul said:Hi all, I've just noticed the TSB are offering a monthly saver account with 5% interest rate (£25 minimum deposit)

There's clearly an issue with your address, as you've previously posted about 'using another address I have' and having address issues with at least 3 savings organisations. So it might serve you better going forwards to find out why it's tripping up and if there's a discrepancy, rather than blame the organisations, so there is consistency in your identity and you can use it with confidence.Freedommm said:Re. I have 2 examples recently where a small error/difference caused ID issues - my son lived in a flat and occasionally encountered issues getting his ID verified etc. and it turned out he was using the address "Flat 7" but he was on some database as "Apartment 7" - once he started using that instead, it all sorted itself out. Similarly, my parents house had a house name and street number - some databases used the house name as the top line, others just omitted it - and a few times I had to double check or advise that might be the case - or got 'address not recognised' etc. and I found it would appear at the bottom of address lists as the name started with a letter not a number.6
