According to APACS, shifting money between accounts held with different providers should take one day instead of three.

Good to see we have an actual date now. Hopefully that means it's less likely that there'll be another delay.0 -
My daughter has just turned 16. It seems she can no longer have a child's account held in my name, but the savings accounts we have looked at with highest rates of interest require savers to be 18. Can any suggest a high rate account for 16 year olds, please0

Also those that do offer this soon to be " New Service " will be at liberty to charge for it.0 -
Following your posting of ICICI Bank as one of the highest paying banks I thought I would sign up. That was on Oct 21st. Recieved an email on the 25th saying they were dealing with application and I should hear from the in two working days. Nothing. I phoned on Nov 10th and spoke to a very surly bloke who said I would hear with-in 4 days. It is now 21st and still nothing. Have others had the same experience? Is it worth continuing?
I have tried twice in the past to pen an account withe these and got fed up of waiting - so in the end gave up0 -

My wife opened an ICICI account a couple of months ago as it was the suggested one in this article. Now it's not. Should we switch?0 -
The Direct Debit is OK, It is so you can request money from your account to pay into the ICICI account.
I wondered if anyone else has problems using the website though? I try to open different areas and constantly get an error - not available page message and have to keep reloading / refreshing the page to get anywhere. It is taking me ages to complete transactions such as requesting money to be paid in from my current account.
There doesn't seem to be anything blocking this site and it is the only site I have problems like this with. HELP!!0
