you might find those online limits are for other types of transfer than nominated account. The easy access saver only allows nominated account transfers via a different transfer form. I've definitely done over £20k transfers several times since I've used themjanusdesign said:

as a personal user? I know the business daily limit is £50k, but thought the personal one was still set at £10k.if that limit is still in place, it's not a problem for me as I have other EA accounts that I can take larger sums from should the need arise.and their FAQ says..- The standard daily user limit for Personal users is £10,000 (subject to available funds).
- The standard daily user limit for Business users is £50,000 (subject to available funds).
I don't think i've ever tried to pull >£10k from Cynergy so I don't know if that above limit is enforced.

That’s what I did for the Lite account - put in initial £2 to cover £2pm fee just incase and still sitting there untouched a few years later.BestSeagull said:Are people just leaving their Edge Current Account completely empty? I'm tempted to put in just a bit to cover the £3 fee "just in case" even though I don't intend to put in £500 a month or set up any direct debits, so shouldn't be charged in the first place.5 -

Any guesses how long this "no fee on Edge account with no DDs, but you can still have the market-smashing savings rate" loophole is going to last?
They do say they can convert your account to a non fee paying account if they feel the account is no longer suitable for you.0 -
Ford Money keep chugging away - going to 4.75% next Thursday according to their twitter/X

They haven't shown the same keenness in keeping their ISA competitive.FindingBBob said:Ford Money keep chugging away - going to 4.75% next Thursday according to their twitter/X

Been with Cynergy since they took over Bank of Cyprus UK, 2017/18 ?Rollinghome said:janusdesign said:aaj123 said:What do people feel about Oxbury vs Shawbrook for the 4.8%. The latter has only 'next day withdrawals'.FWIW, my preference for the 4.8%+ accounts would be...- Cynergy

i'm not planning on moving any more into my Shawbrook account because of this recent rate rise.A bugbear for me with Cynergy was that they had a withdrawal limit of just £10k. So, if that's still the case, and it might have improved, becomes a major operation if you've £85k to pull out or want a decent sum urgently. That aside, as Cynergy is annual interest and Oxbury monthly, by a small margin, I'd prefer Cynergy for reasons discussed (at enormous length) earlier in this topic.
There has never been a £10K restriction on movement in that time
Over the years I would have moved in excess of £10K dozens of times without hitch.2 -
Excellently timed post, thank you. Was about to cull Ford into Aldermore. That fate may now fall on Skipton. Unless my Charter Issue 42 is still showing 4.55% tomorrow rather than the 4.8% I was expecting it to become today.FindingBBob said:Ford Money keep chugging away - going to 4.75% next Thursday according to their twitter/X

Charter have increased everything up to Issue 41 only. Funny that, they said they would increase all ‘no longer on sale’ accounts.mebu60 said:

You might not need to wait until tomorrow. I've just checked my account and the Edge current account has appeared already so I'm hopefully going to be able to open the Edge saver now.infoadict said:Santander Edge Account - just tried opening this and also received the email saying we think you are an existing customer and you will need to send in photocopies of documents etc. etc.Been a customer for over 10 years, so called them, as a previous poster had suggested. After 47 minutes on the phone, sure enough there had been a mismatch with my application details and my existing details. When questioned what the mismatch was, it turned out to be a comma in the address line!!!!. It's their damn system that generates the address, not something I'd typed incorrectly.Hopefully this will be corrected overnight and I'll no longer have 2 profiles.Oh, and applied via the app and it didn't automatically add my details, as had been suggested earlier by someone
Sorry for the misinformation about the app, I was just repeating what the customer service guy told me.
