It often says "Typhoo Tea" on the sides of buses, but they don't sell it!
That's the advertised destination - that's where I want to go!
When I want to buy tea I'll hop on a bus with Tesco superstore on the front.0 -
Yes but "The Top Instant Access Savings Discussion Area" is what it says on the front of this bus.

Chill out - what does it matter? It's all good advice.
What does it matter?
There's a lot of good advice on this forum. You're not seriously suggesting that we might as well just put it all in one giant thread? Separating things makes it easier for people to find the information they need and more likely that people will get the advice they need. There's threads for regular savers, threads for fixed-rate accounts and a whole sub-forum for ISAs and people should be encouraged to post in the appropriate place.0 -

If you can't cope with a slight variant on a theme and an odd spurious posting, then maybe these forums aren't for you.
I would suggest that a fixed term account with a 5 year term is most definitely not "a slight variant on a theme" when the theme in question is instant-access savings accounts.
Do you deny the merits of dedicated threads or do you really think just one giant mess of a thread would be a good idea? Separate groupings are either a good idea or they're not; if they are a good idea then people should be encouraged to post in the correct place. Note that I say "encouraged to post in the correct place", not "shot in the face if they get it wrong"; I believe that pointing someone to the correct thread would be a proportionate response and that's what I try to do.
P.S. And yes I do see the irony that we have now been completely off-topic for several posts!0 -

Your "suggestion" is correct. The poster made a slight error in posting on this particular forum. Forgive and forget about it, as it really isn't that serious in the grand scheme of things.0 -

And I responded by pointing that out so that we could get back on-topic, and the poster would learn for the future.
Steve_xx responded with a tongue-in-cheek post about buses. Nice one. Bit of humour never did anyone any harm!
So I stuck my tongue even further in my cheek and developed his 'buses' theme.
Come on! Chuckle! :rotfl:0
