I don't really want to leave them, but hard to stay when even the Post Office is offering 0.75% more on Easy Access.
I cleared out my easy access a few weeks ago, I can't justify leaving funds in an account paying under 4% however much I like the platform.
I'd probably fix with them again as long as they are there or there about with the top rates but seems like they've given up on easy access customers.
Unfortunately it's already gone, their 1 and 2 year fixes are now 5.9%

Just a reminder the new Skipton rates come into effect today. Among them Skipton Bonus Saver Issue 8 now pays 4.6%.
EDIT:
Also the new Coventry rates have come into effect today. Notably the Four Access Savers (NLA) now pay 4.8%.8 -
Waiting to see what happens at Tandem. If they will hold or reduce their rate?0

Having survived my first app only experience with Tandem, I'm considering opening a Monument account.
I've been reading the t&c and they reserve the right to close the account if the balance falls below £25k.
I've not been following them at all. Are they generally towards the top of the tables so that you'd want to keep at least that amount in? If not, does a lot of account closing and re-opening happen in practice? Anything else to be aware of?
I'm waiting to get through on the phone but it's taking an age...0 -
