Still no increase from Tandem even though they went early with their last rise.
I've set Tandem a deadline of tomorrow to shift from 4.1%. That is when the Coventry Four Access Saver jumps ahead of them from 4% to 4.5%.
I have moved mine today from Tandem to Coventry. I wasn't sure if it would take a day to get there and so did not want to do it on a Friday and have it hanging about until Monday

I am using Chase 3.8% as my easy access saver as it allows standing orders direct from the saver which is useful for drip feeding into the regular savers, there are now several banks that are now 4% and above on their easy access savers, is there any that beat chase and still allow standing orders?

When I bought a house I had >85k deposit and was very aware that I wanted my current account to be with a GSIB in this case. This wasn’t a house sale so no extra protection.
You get the extra protection on a house purchase as well as on a house sale - assuming it is or is to be your main residence:

Yorkshire Building Society rate increases take effect from today.

Means my leading Easy Access (albeit restricted to 6pa) account is now at 4.50%

NLA - Loyalty 6 Access eSaver

Ooh, and my ISA is now at 5.00%

What is this ISA at 5.00%?

It's the Loyalty Six Access ISA ones that the first £20k is 5% and the rest 4.5% for the first 12 months. They're no longer available to open.

    I got two of them, online + branch/post :)

You get access to YBS's loyalty products if you've had at least 12 months continuous account open.

But to open a loyalty product on line, you need to have an open account that is more than 12 months old.  If you open a new (better) account and close the old one, the online system isn't clever enough to work out that you may have been a member for 20 years, so you then have to go into a branch (possibly inconvenient) or apply by post (slow).

Re the Newcastle BS tracker account, I made a payment in this morning which has now cleared, and I received an email confirming receipt of the deposit titled 'investment confirmation'. I didn't however receive a confirmation email after previous cleared payments in earlier this week. Has anyone had this email after each deposit they've made after opening this account?

I’ve made two deposits and had no confirmation for either but I checked and the amounts are in the account. I like to get some confirmation without having to sign in to an account so will be very happy if they have started doing this. At the moment I’ve received nothing at all through the post so am holding back on a bigger deposit - maybe my initial ones were too small to get any confirmation?

No. I have made several transfers in but never received an email acknowledgment
