OK that's interesting. Deposits I had previously made were both big and small.

The wording at the start of the email is:

    Dear X

Just a quick message to let you know that we have received your deposit and credited it to your account.

You can view your balance by logging in online.

    Shawbrook rates up:

    Easy Access Account Issue 36
    AER
    4.35%Variable
    Gross
    4.35% Annually
    4.27% Monthly
At last ! Nice jump as well.
Indeed - I only looked because I was about to move money from Shawbrook to Ford!

Easy to change to the new issue also - you just send them a secure message within the website.
Just for info: It has only taken about 20mins for Shawbrook to respond to my message and change my account from Issue 33 to Issue 36, now showing 4.27% (monthly).  So much easier than the Sainsburys faff!
!!!!!!! I've just withdrawn my money from Shawbrook. I have issue 33. Do I need to upgrade to issue 36 to get the higher rate?

Yes, but it's easy via secure message - there is a dedicated category for upgrading accounts. Mine took around 30 minutes to be actioned.

Yorkshire Building Society rate increases take effect from today.

Means my leading Easy Access (albeit restricted to 6pa) account is now at 4.50%

NLA - Loyalty 6 Access eSaver

Ooh, and my ISA is now at 5.00%

What is this ISA at 5.00%?
It's the Loyalty Six Access ISA ones that the first £20k is 5% and the rest 4.5% for the first 12 months. They're no longer available to open.

    I got two of them, online + branch/post :)

You get access to YBS's loyalty products if you've had at least 12 months continuous account open.
So watch out around end of feb / start of March for a replacement.

If memory serves me well the loyalty ISA was available early March until late April (possibly May) you could fund two when available, one last year one this year, with 20k for 4.5 now up to 5, with over 20k earning 4.5 now. Although you did need to open one via post as mentioned above.

you can fund the 2nd one using previous tax years ISA funds via ISA transfer if you have them, which is what I did
