    I don't understand the question.

Shawbrook only have one easy access (non ISA) product.

    Hello All
What account would you suggest open at Shawbrook that has minimum balance requirements?
I currently have Easy Access Account Issue 34 where minimum balance is £1000 at 3.91%
Tandem & Principal BS are offering more than that.

    Suggestions?

I think all Shawbrook accounts have a £1k balance requirements - but that said, that is only the balance required to get the headline rate of 3.91%, I don't think there is anything to stop you having a lower balance, e.g £1 - it's just that the rate on that £1 would be 0.05%.

it looks like my existing account has been updated too (they've updated the AER rate showing on the current issue rather than creating a new issue - so none of the usual opening/closing nonsense required as per their notice accounts new issues).
the monthly gross rate is still showing as 3.83% (4.00% AER in the account title), but that tends to get updated overnight, so should say 3.93% tomorrow.

Requires a Base Rate uplift of at least 0.5% tomorrow for the Skipton BR Tracker Issue 3 (BR - 0.9%) to remain competitive.

But I think the T&C's only allow one EA account, so if you already hold iss. 34...

I suspect the OP is looking to keep his Shawbrook account open whilst moving funds elsewhere - if that is so, they'll still only have one EA account with Shawbrook, but most of the funds previously in it will be moved to other banks.

It is quite striking. I initially though they got caught off guard by Tandem and having already prepared the 4% announcement, they went ahead and then went back to the drawing board. However, since the Tandem announcement was yesterday you would have thought Oxbury had time to adjust their announcement and gone straight in with 4.11%. I wonder if they have a feeling tomorrow's 0.25% hike isn't quite so cut and dried as concensus estimates suggest.
