What I normally do is if I have had a transfer blocked, and I know I will be doing more immediately after, I call up, get the account unblocked, then insist they stay on the phone while I do the other ones. Usually some of them get blocked too, and therefore they can deal with them there and then so I don't need to call back.

The ft newspaper should stop interviewing staff at resolver that spread urban myths!
For some banks fraudsters would need to impersonate my voice. E.g. Halifax. Good luck with that fraudsters!

As some will know, I've only recently moved from Santander to Chip. Last Friday (late night - during bank holiday weekend), I set the Santander app 'daily payment limit to the highest amount (£25K). I then sent a large payment to Chip. I subsequently got a text message from Santander to say that I'll be receiving another text in about an hour to confirm some suspicious account activity.
However, no text came through. Instead on Saturday morning, I got a call from Santander with an automated message asking whether I had carried out such a transaction and if so to press 1. I went ahead and instantly the money landed in Chip. I carried out a further large transfer, again from Santander to Chip, but this time it went straight through.
So what I'm trying to say is that everyone seems to have different experience with different banks/financial institutions. I've not had to move money out of Chip, so I hope they don't cause too many issues.
