If the balance goes below £1k the rate drops to 0.05%patpalloon said:
Mine is only showing 0.05% interest. I have monthly, but I have a zero balance at the moment. But I'm sure it had the correct previous interest showing when I had a zero balance. AFAIK it's not like eg Investec when if your balance drops below 5k you get zero interest. Maybe it will sort itself out.janusdesign said:
my Issue 33 has been updated to the new rate (and I received the text too), though bear in mind that if you're getting monthly interest, it will show as 3.31% rather than 3.36%.patpalloon said:
I had the text but it's not showing on my account. I have issue 33 do I need to upgrade to issue 34?S_uk said:Shawbrook now 3.36% AER.1 -
Looks like Charter have launched Issue 35 EA paying 3.3%. As per the announcement on their home page, hopefully my Issue 28 will increase from 3.25% to 3.5%0

Chip monthly interest is now showing in my Instant Access account with today's date (6th April), i.e. in the new tax year.
I will be able to check which tax year Chip have allocated today's interest when they've prepared my annual statement:
Chip Instant Access accounts > Settings (top right-hand corner in iOS app) > Statements > Annual1 -
That Shawbrook increase just a bit too small to force Zopa to go higher
