    My Kent Reliance easy access accounts are at the minimum balance, and they are not showing the withdrawal and transfer option. Is this right please? I think I remember seeing something somewhere on a thread about it, but I cannot find it to check. I called them and the guy said it could be why, but he wasn't actually sure, so he has asked the IT team to look into it, but he cannot give a timescale for how long it may take. Thank you

    (They were not at the minimum balance yesterday, and the option was showing)
    I've just checked mine and I can't see the withdrawal option either despite having been able to make a withdrawal previously. I suspect it will be because you can't withdraw funds to below the minimum balance without closing the account so there's little point in including the option.
    Thanks for checking that for me - my deposit has now arrived and the withdrawal option is back 😅. Weirdly though, I didn't get the SMS stating 'we can confirm your deposit has been applied to your account...' that I got when I did an internal transfer last week. Does anyone know if they send these for external transfers in please, or is it just for internal transfers? Thanks

    EDIT: N.B. Transfers/withdrawals don't show as an option in the SMS alert menu for me for some reason

    Yes, I get an SMS for every withdrawal and for paying in.

    Yup.  Family Planner has pulled out of the top savings chart.  Not the recommended method. :-}

    So Skipton is the only decent base rate tracker on offer now. Grab it while you can. The push down of yields due to events of past few days means trackers like this will soon be pulled.

    Market expectations are that BOE rate will now peak at 4.25% (whereas recently it has been 4.75%) after the bank failures of the last few days. So we may well be seeing the peak of the saver rates now

    Any evidence to back this up or is this just your opinion/view?

    This would be a shame. In my opionion the BOE should have been much more aggressive to start with and we should be sitting at at least 5% by now. However, a much more aggresive appraoch in the first place would perhaps not have escalated things with inflation as they are just now but it's a rather complex topic anyway so I leave it as is.
