What is the procedure for doing this. I am familiar with TCB but the Chip link only takes you to a page with a QR to download the Chip app. How will TCB know you have set up the app and opened the account via them if you scan the QR on a laptop using your phone? Or is it necessary to do everything on your phone?

My cashback wasn't tracked and that was exactly my thought - how on earth can they track it? Claim submitted, but "this process is likely to take from four weeks to several months (often longer)". I wish I used RAF route instead (TCB was £20 that time and RAF is £20+£20 now, but was £25 2-3 weeks ago).

I tried to do it and it doesn't seem possible to do it in the app. I'd like to know how to keep my linked bank account as it is and link my debit card from another bank, if at all possible.

My wife has just opened a Chip account, linked her bank account and sent a small test amount which worked fine. She then went the rest of her savings (a much larger amount) but that's not shown up. It said something like "it's taking a bit longer, etc" but she's worried. I assume it's maybe the amount and her bank are checking things but have others had a delay on a larger amount? Just want to allay her fears!

Add money to Chip via Apple Pay has all of my debit cards available to choose from, but I'm unsure as to whether the payments would be returned if coming from a different card.

I was told by Tandem that interest is paid on the monthly anniversary of the date you first paid into the account, not the day you opened it. I know for most people it's the same date, but for me it isn't.
