I’m also in the process of moving some money from Aldermore. They have also been great and I’ve had no issues, but the rate is 2.72% and it doesn’t look like it’s going to rise.
Me too. They do sometimes take a while, but maybe if enough of us move our money away they’ll get the message.

Cumberland BS seem a way ahead with 2.6% easy access business esaver but not my locality unfortunately. Wonder why so few choices with better rates.
in addition to needing to be local to a branch, you would need to have their current account for that savings account - which may or may not cost you money (depending on your use of that current account)... for their 2.40% account, you would just need to be local.
i'm using Newcastle without any issues, but their rate is the same as Aldermore's, so no benefit for you to change to them.
Shawbrook is 2.02%, but that's only £2 more per £10k per year in interest, so hardly worth the hassle for me to change.

Newcastle BS Triple Access 3.05% (03/02) Newcastle Triple Access Saver (Issue 4) thnx @ForumUser7

First time in the ToTP list for Newcy BS? In at No2.
Used to have some decent rate reg savers some years ago.

I recently applied for one of these Necastle BS accounts online.
The clunky application process asks you to send proof of ID through the post.
They give a PDF with two lists (A and B) of possible forms of ID but don't tell you how many are required from each list:-

    https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwi--LDIj4v9AhUOacAKHSCWCm8QFnoECA0QAQ&url=https://www.newcastleis.co.uk/docs/acceptable-ID.pdf&usg=AOvVaw0SWBmUOqB7_eaSX_GL53a2

It also says you can send a copy as a PDF but don't tell you where to email it.

I sent them an message asking what was required. So far, no email reply and nothing received through the post.

Has anyone else figured this out?

Great - I can't type 'upper case B' followed by 'bracket' without it being converted into a stupid emoji wearing sunglasses B)

I brought mine into a local branch - I brought a passport, driving licence, and bank statement with me, and they certified them and scanned them up to head office to process - there was a 10WD lead-time due to Christmas holidays. I would suggest you call your local branch first to check if they can do this for you (if you have one).

I used their online secure message to get our account upgraded each time. It was done within 24 hours.

Sainsbury's is a pain, you need to open a new account to get each new rate, and manually transfer the balance.
This may be a world record. I sent a secure message to Shawbrook this morning asking them to 'upgrade' my account from 32 to 33.  Before I logged out I got a message in return saying that the account had been changed as requested. Can't fault them for speed! Other institutions may have left it in the in tray until Monday.
I have just made the identical request to Paragon asking for Issue 10 to become Issue 11.  I await their response.

There's no need to message Paragon. I just logged in, opened Issue 11and funded it with a full transfer from previous Issue account. All done instantly, previous Issue closed, new one opened and funded.

No need at all, I was just curious to see if they dealt with it in the same swift manner as Shawbrook. After an hour I hadn't heard a peep from them, so I did it myself. Shawbrook obviously have too much time on their hands.

Looks like my emergency pot is landing in Chase Monday. I was hoping Zopa would react.
