Thanks for the suggestion of Shawbrook. I actually had an account with them last year which I closed - but I was still registered so opening a new account was a piece of cake
so now moving my money out of Marcus

I ended up calling them today, they answered straight away and changed it instantly. Very impressed.ranciduk said:

I've used the app on 90 day notice account, no problems at all, allows you to move issues if better rate comes available but they seem to up all issues at same time recently.

its been much much better last few months luckily

I got straight through to Shawbrook customer services yesterday as well and two weeks ago when I upgraded from 30 to 32 and did the survey and gave them top marks on both occasions makes a change from CS at some other places
