Guessing they require manual processing rather than automated FPS etc so it guarantees a certain level of service. Don’t see the problem.

Thanks for the suggestion of Shawbrook. I actually had an account with them last year which I closed - but I was still registered so opening a new account was a piece of cake  so now moving my money out of Marcus

Thanks for the heads-up yesterday. I am new to Shawbrook and sent my secure message at approximately 1:30pm - do you know how long it takes them to switch the account over? I see that the message says ‘read’. Many thanks! 

I sent my message and within 1 hour they had changed my account over to the new higher issue 

I ended up calling them today, they answered straight away and changed it instantly. Very impressed.

Easy access 3.05% is only for balances over £20k

I've used the app on 90 day notice account,  no problems at all, allows you to move issues if better rate comes available but they seem to up all issues at same time recently.

Last year their customer service went downhill badly and got that bad I considered leaving them

its been much much better last few months luckily

I got straight through to Shawbrook customer services yesterday as well and two weeks ago when I upgraded from 30 to 32 and did the survey and gave them top marks on both occasions makes a change from CS at some other places
