Skipton  BS Triple Access Iss6 will pay 3.10% from 13/02. £5k to open/for the rate? Triple Access Saver - Skipton Building Society

In the, admittedly unlikely, event of no higher offer emerging ITMT, it will go to top spot in the Easy Access ranked-by-rate list 'Top of The Pots' AKA 'ToTP' here.

Also linked in my signature box.

Note: Skipton have been known to make top rate offers NLA before the effective date, so you may need to get your skates on if you might want it.

Neither the Account Terms or the General Terms state the time period for the account to be funded before it's closed. Does anyone have that info? I've opened one of these just in case it gets withdrawn but don't want to fund it until next week when the rate goes up

If you open it now at 2.65% will they upgrade it to 3.10% on the 13th Feb ?

    Thanks for that.
Leaving Marcus, fed up waiting for them to react to these increases.

yes but you need to open with £5k min, and maintain a min £5k balance. Alternatives with better rates, lower min balance but perhaps slightly worse access are some Notice accounts or 1 year fixes

Also looking at Sainsbury`s defined triple at 3.05% min £1K.
    (£1 to £999 @ 1.05%)

    To soulsaver:
Issue number also needs to be incremented to 39 on TotP.
Hard to keep up with Sainsbury's regular increases I know!
Thanks again for all your efforts, hugely appreciated by many.
  • The best interest account is only 3%!!! Yet the BoE rate is 4%. Is it worth waiting until a challenger sticks their neck out with a higher rate and switch then. Thoughts?

I would move your savings now. If the challenger banks come up with a higher rate you can always move your savings again.
