Accompany? I shadowed Mrs Anon while the phone was on speaker .

You can take over if in branch. Call could be terminated if they suspect/detect someone 'advising'.

True, but it would take a few hours round trip, rather than a 5 minute phone call.

I think some have reported that Santander won't let you open more than one or two extra accounts? So you might find opening three doesn't work.

Happy to be wrong but, as others have said, the phone call isn't too bad. I switched two in one call and am due to switch two more. Though I am anticipating domestic resistance when I ask Mrs Z-man to switch three in one go...

I opened 4, was turned down on the 5th attempt.

The maximum number of accounts appears to be five in total (we got to that before rejection on the 6th), however, it may be based on a range of factors when they credit check etc.

That would support what I found. Already had a 123 account, opened 4 everyday accounts totalling 5 and was rejected for the 6th.

That's all very well......but where are the flippin' vouchers ?

I am still waiting on vouchers from claims submitted at the end of March, but I think someone on this thread stated it can take upto 30 days.
