27 MINUTES AND COUNTING!!!Thank you YL xx How did you do?
In the HHC I:
set the timer
WUDUPA two bowls of pots
WUDUPA two baking trays
wiped down cooker top
wiped down draining board
filled the kettle
beep
And yes, I am noticing a difference in the house - clear cooker top, clear sofa, space under the kitchen table; more floorbut there is a HUGE amount still to do. One bag, one pile at a time it will be done - thanks to the non-judgemental support I have from you lovely ladies
WM has stopped swishing. I was hoping the fog would lift and the washing could be pegged out - but if anything it has come down more. So a laundry shuffle will be the next job.
Then there are two Minions back packs to go on the cs pile
Little by little, I'm moving forward :T

ETA One Minions backpack + unused drinks bottle dusted and put in CS pile. One Minions lunch box put in washer - we'll see how it comes out: will be cs or bin!IT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme0 -
Cooey, me again.
I have cleaned the freezer, done dailies, put recycling out, walked the dogs, got the first of four washloads in the machine, prepped yoghurt ahead of having a tooth out tomorrow, put the beef in the slow cooker, spent an hour in the garden and kept admiring my handiwork on the handbag so far.
Just having a cuppa and will then be back out in the garden for a final hour.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Cooey Jazee xx
I found some school photos of DS (secondary school) and a photo of him on a playschool trip. He's 26

Morning all. Ionafan I hope your DH is improving today.
Lovely day again here, there was a little fog first thing but that cleared very quickly. I've got washing on the line and it's drying already.
We've been for a walk to the park and I've had my top-up of talking to other people's dogs
I might be able to sit outside again today, it was lovely out there for an hour yesterday afternoon while I sewed up a jumper I knitted.0 -
Another hour spent in the garden. Just having another cuppa and a snack. Am then going to walk dogs again then have a bath.Spend less now, work less later.0

Thank you all for good wishes for my DH. He is out of bed and looking a bit livelier than he did yesterday. However, I have cancelled our trip to DGS3 today and I will go over there for lunch tomorrow - very conveniently, he will be off school on his actual birthday for an INSET day. But I shall have to share him with his other grandparents - who wear me (and our two grandsons) out very quickly with their Tigger-like enthusiam, so I shan't be able to stay long
Lamb has been simmering in the SC since 8.00 and smells delish
I had hung two loads of washing on the line this morning before the sun finally broke through the mist, and a third is almost ready to join them.
I've been to church and on a home visit, so once we've had lunch the rest of the day is mine. I plan to take Rosie on a long walk and then do some tidying up in the garden - some of the goose grass has doubled in length in a week!
See you all on the new thread later xx0 -
I've got the To Do list down from 22 items this week to 6, one of which I've started, so I'm getting there. I've spent today working on just one of the 22 as it has been outstanding for weeks and the longer it went on the worse it got, but it's finished at last. Horray.
OH is in London watching his team and apparently they drew, so that's a relief. He's back tomorrow evening, so I should be able to get a bit more done.Better is good enough.0 -
Well done HB. See you all on the next thread.Spend less now, work less later.0

Just popping in here with an end of the week post before the next fred.
We are home! And staying home for a few weeks now (as a family)
Car is unpacked.
1 load of washing done (will hang up shortly)
We had a tight turn around friday & yesterday, so we didn't leave the house as we normally would, so I've tidied all the downstairs rooms since getting back.
Sandwich tea made and being eaten by Small.
I've meal planned and written a shopping list for the morning.
I've written tomorrow's to do list which I'm hoping will involve lots of outside sorting and some planting.
Tonight I want to try and get ahead on the inside jobs on tomorrow's list, more washing & tidying etc.
Love to all

Lazy-ish day today. Ironed half the dried washing (until I ran out of hanging room) and washed and line dried bedding, shirts and a couple of throws.
I'm home all day tomorrow, working Tuesday afternoon instead of Monday.
