Agency scam?

Remember as you have chosen the agent to find a place for you similarly landlords would have chosen them to find a tenant. Both are equally placed and are victims.
I suggest you to get together with your Landlord to fight against the Rogue Agent.
Te procedure is on, I will definitely update. The rouge agents need to be punished.
I'm sorry but you are incorrect. And I'm not sure what you are really talking about.
Tenants do not choose any agent. They choose properties.0 -
Because the landlord chose the agent?
That's not my problem as a tenant.
You're a landlord, so surely at this point you've terminated the contract, receive rent directly and given you were going to take legal action back in May, have now done so?
Mr. Comms, all are not knowledgeable as you,Small claims court doesn't take 6 months
will be happy to get an update.
when such an issue arises, it is a step by step approach especially for people who are victims of the Fraud for the first time and don't know where & how to seek help.
I am in a better position for the next time. Learning as you go is all about life.0 -

Hope it works well for you; can you post the case number once it's allocated so I can buy the transcript?0 -
I have today sent them a Formal Comlaint(Got the template from the PRS). Pending the outcome, i will proceed to write another Complain to the Property Redress Scheme as the PRS told me that's the acceptable channel to take. I don't think i can afford to let go of my £1800.0

Just go to court. You aren't obliged to use the PRS0 -
Thanks. I have been adviced to try to sort out by seeking mediation with a timeframe for a response from them. Failing that, i will go straight to the Small Claims Court. I heard it cost about £99. Has anyone used the Small Claims Court before? And how long does it take for ones case to be heard?0

Hi, I’m afraid I am another victim of iiqama quarters. They took money from a tenant and never transfer to me. They kept sending me an invoice but nothing happens afterwards. Just wandering if any of you sorted the problems out with them or it’s still going on?! Thank you0

PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM IIQAMA QUARTERS!!!! - i wish someone said this to me before! Even if they are legit, please just dont risk it!
I am currently in the process of renting a place from Iiqama Quarters.
First they asked for the deposit to take it off the market, which then increased. The woman then said the rest needed to be paid and disappeared. I then saw the same house being advertised when I paid for it to be taken off the market. The total price increased significantly from what was advertised and LOL still being advertised!!!
I paid the remaining amount and then she requested more. No details of the move in date or keys handover. In addition to this the woman said she was awaiting confirmation from the landlord?!
The tenancy agreements were signed but still now no response when the landlord’s details were requested.
They’re not UK registered company on companies house. I called them 2 weeks ago to ask about the legitimacy of their company and the woman threatened to call the police on me.
Now I need to take them to court, get my money back and report them to whoever needs to know about these people and the disgusting things they’re doing to people.
I have children and I have already registered them to the local schools. I have lost a lot of money and can’t afford to put down more money for another house!!!! I am distraught, if there’s any help or advice please respond! Thank you!0 -
