Haha.. I just sent OH to the girls swimming an hour early.. it means I have an extra hour of peace!! That’s got to be a good thing!! I told him to let them run about in the grass outside for an hour.. they’ve been vile all week and I am not looking forward to a week home with them all. OH is working both sundays but off all week.

I want to have him sort the garden.. and help empty the middle room. I need him to clear the tops of the kitchen units so I don’t have to be up and down the steps wobbling about carrying stuff.

We aren’t going to the outlaws.. I made it clear at Christmas that wasn’t happening..

I want to finish painting the kitchen, paint the middle room, move Twinkle into the girls pit which requires severe flinging in there and I will love it! I have stuff to drop at Jacobs house, tip, chazzer, my mothers, my sisters and some bits to pick up from my other sister.. and OH does everything at 0.1mph... and I move like lightening and drive him crazy!

I think the first job is to finish emptying the bookcase in the middle room..

I’m addition I want to get washing on the line..

I have maybe 6 loads to wash.. and want to strip all the girls beds one day this week..
DW needs to be run at least twice

    Lunch and a cuppa first..

Checked weather forecast to make sure Fayolle's drizzle wasn't heading this way, then wiped down washing line and hung out washing. Sunny, with a fresh breeze. Should dry :)

Next load swishing and will be hung out in due course.

DS has been down and read out the 2019 Grand Prix dates whilst I added them to the calendar. Only a month to wait for the first race of the season :T DS has also told me who is driving for which team this year :D Too soon to get excited but :j:j:T:T:j:j :D

DS has brought down most of the stuff I took up earlier - only kept the money box and a Ghostbusters blow up something-or-other. The rest can be binned.

  • Well done R - we've been out on the bikes, which was actually quite hard work. Its a beautiful day but quite blowy.

Bits of the house look grubby but sitting down with a cuppa first. Need a few bits from the shops. Can feel my motivation slipping away ...

Still struggling I fear; though I did manage to give the bath-lift a good blitz with the steam cleaner (boy did it need it!! )

I'm at a loss what to do to help myself at this juncture; my depression is definitely getting worse; I'm finding it next to impossible to maintain the "I'm-ok-and-coping-with-all-life-throws-at-me" persona that is my usual mask. I'm forgetting things within two minutes of reading/hearing them; and I'm making stupid and annoying errors (needless to say I greatly fear making a stupid error whilst setting out our medication). There's no help to be had from the doctor, even if it didn't take six weeks to get an appointment, as I'm already on the highest dose of my anti-depressants (Moclobemide) so there's nothing else they can give me.
I can't get out of my head the memory of a former work colleague waking up one morning and finding her husband dead in the bed beside her.

*SIGH* I probably just need a damn good slap.

LW, if you want a slap , here's one for you, but having had depression myself in the past, I really hope things improve for you soon.

I have cleaned the sinks and toilets, done the dailies and painted a gnome.

Well course passed and I helped out for 2 hours.

Daft thing done, parcel posted yesterday, had not been paid for, (I thought it had) it is ages since I have made that mistake, luckly it is a low prices item, so if it is not paid for it is not the end of the world, but bluddy annoying..........

I'm going to set my timer for another 30 minutes and start by bringing in the washing.

Well the drizzle stopped at some point but it has stayed cloudy and chilly all day. I have spent the day in and out of the greenhouse and digging out pots etc from the garage.
DH has ripped out the carpet, the skirting and the coving in the spare room. He also seems to have taken half the plaster away with it. I guess that means a plasterer needs to be booked then.
I’ve just come into a cold house. Yes the boiler appears to have a fault again *sigh*. Boiler man too will have to be booked.
LW - I can give you a slap if you think it will help, but I’d much rather you had a fly lady squishy hug. Xx

Exactly what I was thinking xx I wish there was more I could do or say to help xx

    In my 30 minutes I:

brought in the washing (nearly dry)
retrieved football for NN's child :)
folded all washing and put on airer to 'finish off'
WULTD various kitchen utensils retrieved from under the table :o
rinsed and recycled two cans (not from under table!!!)
binned no longer required spare pan lid - found the original :T
pulled the next bag from under the table - it's a badly stained Stig fancy dress outfit. I'll ask DS if he wants me to try washing it - I'm happy to put it through the machine to see if it comes up clean - or bin it. Added to Mount Washmore for now.
    beep

Little by little I'm moving forward :)
