Landlord constantly visiting - not sure what to do!

Is he married, maybe he likes you?0 -

If he thinks she is growing weed then call the police, don't go all "The Lives of Others" on the tenant.
Not everyone is that sensible.
People are strange complicated creatures.
I know a few landlords who keep a very close eye on their properties like this.
It's usually because they've been stung in the past.
Mainly brothels, illegal immigrants subletting, cannabis farms with dodgy by-passing of electrical meters etc.0 -

You might wish to get an alarm that goes off in anyone opens front door & tell neighbours to 'phone police if it goes off.
Write landlord a calm polite letter - keep copy - listing his many visits and repeat your earlier request to always give AT LEAST 24hrs notice: You do not have to agree to any visits.& read this lot....
Also recognize landlord can, sadly, thanks to Thatcher's 1988 Housing Act, evict you for no reason at all.
So can he evict me on the spot with no notice? It says in the tenancy agreement that he would have to give me three months if he wants me to leave the flat. Thats a bit unnerving.
I will definitely draft a letter. Thankyou for that very useful link.0 -

I do understand where you're coming from here, but this guy has been in and out of my flat so many times, at random times of the day, through my post for the past 18 months... and there's never been anything problematic apart from me leaving junk mail in my postbox.0 -
Would being married make him more or less likely to be interested in the OP?sevenhills wrote: »Is he married, maybe he likes you?0 -

No. He would have to go through the legal channels.0 -
I'm not sure how someone can be a 'pervert' unless the OP is undressed?
My understanding of 'pervert' is a man who peeps through the curtains when a woman is getting undressed etc.0 -
