Hi , honestly I don't think it was me, really!!:D
Catznine, I've just rushed to all my single post recipes kept in *favourites*. They've all gone:eek:  Just empty boxes, what will I do? I needed to look at one today, and resolved as soon as the site was back up I'd print them. If they don't come back you'll hear the sobbing the length and breadth of the country
Wonder if the site will still be up when I try to post. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
evening all :j
glad we are back online, have missed you all today, I done a huge post this morning, but got booted out at the last moment,
Have been to lidl today, bought a goose for xmas got it in the freezer, its a nice big one, for £14, hope its nice. Also got some xmas chocs, and have hidden then from OH and DD, although like the Tru's I am sure they will begone long before xmas.
Kathy, your DH is working very close to where I live  its madness that he has to travel so far still at least he has work, its a bit scarce in the building area this year xx
Hugs to all those who are feeling a bit poorley or down.
Also had DD's eyes tested, as she keeps geting headaches, eye test was fine so back to DR now.
Have good evenings

Hi all,
Kyle, Churchmouse and Aussie’s Dgs, I hope you’re all feeling a bit better.
Haribo, I’m glad yesterday went well.
Gingham, sorry for leaving you in the lurch, hopefully I’ll be about a bit more now.
Adam’s home!!!! :j :j :j :j :j
He had a kidney scan yesterday, and his kidneys are pink and inflamed but there doesn’t appear to be any permanent damage. I have to check his temperature and urine four hourly and he’ll be on antibiotics for another ten days but apart from feeling very weak and tired, he’s absolutely fine! He’s going to have to have regular weekly visits to the hospital for a while but I think we can live with that! Can you tell how happy I am??
His throat is still really sore and his appetite is poor…so I’m racking my brains for ideas for easy to eat foods that will tempt him and at the same time build him up. He’s eating lots of ice-cream and I’m making custards, jellies and smoothies with fresh fruit, but I’m a bit stuck on savoury ideas. I’ve already made cauliflower cheese soup, chicken and sweetcorn, and I’m making cream of tomato now, but there is only so much homemade soup that a teenage boy wants to eat. If anyone has any suggestions I’d be really grateful.
I gave the house a lick and a promise this morning, but the rest can wait until I have more time. This afternoon I lit the fire and we had a good look through the old photograph boxes. Being in a paediatric ward with lots of babies made him ask questions about when he was small so what better time than now to get out the old pics and have a bit of a reminisce.
Thankyou once again for all your lovely messages. I’m off to work shortly, hopefully the site will still be up when I get back.

good news that master pink is home again, the only thing i can think of are cheesy mashed potatoes, poached egg or semolina pudding, asdas fresh custard or a whipped jelly made with evap milk or with a fruit yoghurt stirred into cooled jelly, use a little less water
