Morning everyone, yesterday i managed to iron all of oh old workshirts that dont fit him any more no idea how they got in the ironing basket?so i have ironing to do today:eek: i hate it and i'm no good at it.
Both the biscuit and cake tin are empty so i need to get on with some baking today also need to make some bread so looks like i'm having a baking day today. oh wants sheperds pie for tea so need to get some mince out of the freezer and mince it either that or i'm sure theres a recipe on here somewhere for making a chilli using steak and not mince so might try and find that.
Hugs to everyone who needs them

Morning All
(((hugs))) to those feeling ill or just fed up.
Watched some of Im a Celeb last night - embarrased to admit but I used to love the group Five - so am enjoying watching 'J'.
Nice day today, OH has stayed up so he will be doing the school run so I can get on with a few bits before I head out to the hairdressers at 9.30.
I plan to check online banking then clean both bathrooms and toilets & put a load of washing on. May even get time to do my small pile of ironing.
DS has a friend around tonight and having ham eggs and chips for tea, I shall probably have an omlette.
Have a great day.

Good morning everyone,
Things still not good here, DD being a little whatsit, which really isnt like her at all, so not sure how things are going to pan out.
I love celebrity, and i agree, Janis does need a good slap!!! Silly woman, shes just asking for the audience to vote for her to do the trials - did her agent not explain it to her???!!!
LO still not well, so i actually have a day off, so the shopping i was going to do on Thursday, im going to go and do today. Im really behind with my xmas shopping, and im normally much more organised than this year (mind you, its been lack of money rather than be being disorganised unfortunatly) so hopefully i will get a lot done today.
Must also pop to the doctors and book in for my set of blood tests that i need before i go and see my consultant in January, if they go the way im hoping he will discharge me to my doctors care, which will be a lot easier than the regular trips to the hospital. Will be horrible having so many tests, but will be good in the long run.
If i get my shopping done quickly, might do some housework, but after missing MSE yesterday (spent the afternoon chatting to lovely friend on the phone instead) will prob catch up a bit on the comps.
HUGS to anyone who would like/needs one,
Have a lovely day
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Oh - sorry i didnt reply to the PMs yesterday, but hope to do it today!!0 -
Forgot about Celebrity earlier. Am I the only one that was totally unconvinced when Rodney had that 'oh shucks' look on his face and acted like he was being cheated by not being allowed to throw himself out of the plane at 1000+ ft on the end of a bit of elastic.
Thought it would be Janis that I'd hate but at least she's honest and upfront!AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

:hello:Morning!
Just trying to keep busy until I can phone up about my friend! Fingers crossed all went well.
Yesterday was my first day back "flying" and down went the site  was it the shock of me finally doing something about the state of this place?
I was feeling all inspired by Catowens recent successes :T with the competitions and now want to have a go myself. Some years ago (well about 10 yrs actually - oh dear I'm getting old!) I also had a good year and won about 8 magazine draws so I know it can be done but "you have to be in it to win it" as they say!
Pink - Hope Adam is recovering well
Have a good day everyone! I must get a wiggle on as I have to walk the pup before I am due at the dentist and I still have a phone call to make.

Morning all,
((((((hugs)))))))) to all the sick OSers and families
Hope everything is improving.Pink
Taplady, hope the meeting went ok.
Well, it's damp here, so the plan of cutting the lawn and painting the fence is out. Will try and do some more washuing. We have a meeting with ds1's form tutor at 4pm - general for all Y8 on how they're settling in etc. Not expecting too many shocks, apart from spelling and handwriting.
Hopefully the last day the painter is here. Once he's finished, I want to strip the finish off the tiles in the hall, scrub them and then refinish them. Joint Beavers and Cubs tonight = dh is doing a science demostration lecture - I just have to get the ingredients for liquid nitrogen icecream - nice easy night.
Dinner will be the spare ribs we didn't have last night - as I had bought a guinea fowl half price in Sainsburys, so turned that into pie - yummy.
Hope you all have a good day.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

DH has gone to take his exam again this morning, so good luck to him:D
I'm running down the freezers trying to use up everything before I do the xmas shop.
