Going from Super Unleaded to Unleaded

It's only a s3, it won't be that fussy.
What a bizarre post. What on Earth do you mean by “only” an S3, and why would you possibly assume that there won’t be any difference? It depends on what the manufacturers have chosen for the engine parameters.
Audi suggests super unleaded, which sounds about right, but as above, it won’t cause harm to run on standard. I’d not do that if it was mine as it probably feels a bit different on normal to on super.0 -

The OP is not using anything like the full power. He's doing 60mph max in order to save pennies on fuel. I doubt he's using 10% of the available power.
Yeah true and fair point.
Any performance car i've owned does get driven, so i dont deny it Superunleaded if its recommended for it.0 -
In the same way that a Dacia Sandero is a fine form of transport, why pay all that extra money for the car, without paying 2p per litre on petrol?
And now the Dacia Sandero, a fine form of transport and a solid 3/5 on What Car, is castigated on this forum.
What drivers are welcome here I wonder?0 -

Probably jealous!0 -
Categorically not. Too small for me. And I get my own performance kicks without worrying about fuel. Only, whilst some might take that as an insult it is "only" a s3. A hot hatch. Not a hyper car. Not a vintage classic. There are recommendations but will there be I'll effects of the cheaper fuel? Nope.Probably jealous!0
