Good spot Keith, thank you.
Would that do the job, or would it need any adjustments?0 -
Add to this:I [STRIKE]an[/STRIKE] am emailing to dispute the parking charge. I tried to appeal online, but the online page wouldn't work. I was named as the hirer of the above vehicle and confirm that is the case, and you sent me a Notice to Hirer so I am the person entitled to appeal this charge.
It will be fine but this goes at the bottom, not the top:The Hirer

Good afternoon,
The deadline to appeal this charge was on the , as the notice to driver was sent out to you on the .

What is the next step? Am I still in scope to ask for a POPLA code here?0 -
What would you advise as the next step here? It's been 5 days0

If they say you've missed their initial appeal deadline date, they won't give you a POPLA Code, and there's not much you can do about it.
'Carly' has effectively told you so.It's been 5 daysPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Ahh I wasn't sure. Worth an ask, I suppose
And I'd posted 'Carly's response and nobody had got back to me in 5 days.
Thanks for your help though, it's been appreciated. Bummer that I'd mucked it up0 -
you should not have waited 28 days to appeal any NTH posted to you , there was no advantage in any delay and being out of time means court is next ffor MB and yourself , within 6 years0
-
Our experience of Minster Baywatch is that their "Notice to Hirer" is actually issued as a "Notice to Driver" and claims that "we have been informed that you were the driver of the vehicle,,,,".
The PCN invites "appeals" within 28 days of its issue. Therefore if you did try to "appeal" on Day 28 and MB's website didn't accept this, it may be worthwhile putting in a complaint to the BPA.
Some parking companies' websites are not very sophisticated and may block a hirer's "appeal" if the lease company has already "appealed" first.0
