They must be quaking in their corporate boots!.
It's unlikely Symbio could care less what Trustpilot say, given that they disregard Ofgem continually without consequences.

Submitted my monthly reads with pictures. I have an E7 meter (though paying the same rate for all units with Symbio) so I have to submit two separate pictures, but when you do this for the second one, you click the same box which at that point shows your own reference number of the first picture, and I can't help wondering whether this action cancels the first one and replaces it with the second one. You only press 'submit' when you've done both. Then they send an email acknowledgement which contains an attachment of the second picture and not the first. What the point is of sending your own picture straight back to you I'm not quite sure, but the fact that there's only the one makes me wonder if the other one ever reaches them.0

You could combine the two photos into one image? That said, why are you bothering? I've never submitted photos and they've never asked. I have weekly photos (meter near ceiling!) should they ever be needed, but I doubt anyone at Symbio is capable of reading a pointy needle meter anyway.spot1034 said:Submitted my monthly reads with pictures. I thought by sending a picture of the meter read each month this would ensure my bills were more accurate. Just entered mine for April and the actual usage is 255 units as against their estimates of 542. As they continually over charge me each month I may now get them to put me on a fixed dd.Tallerdave said:

I doubt they've ever looked at a single photo. It's the numbers you type in that they use to give you an "accurate" bill.

Never sent a photo to Symbio, either.
I do take em from time to time, though, and always when moving home or changing suppliers.0 -
Yet again they have tried to double charge me. I pay £130 per month, they did a DD notification for another payment on 4th which is m new £114 standard payment plus an arreas payment. So today they took £130, so spoke with bank and got it recalled.
I seem to get two DD notification e-mails at the end of each month and they try and take two payments! If it happens again, I will cancel the DD and pay by card.0 -
First of all I owe Symbio a hollow apology. I actually used 285 units in April and not 255 as stated. Just seen sight of my May bill and they assume I will be using more units than in April and have an estimated my usage as 495 units. At least it is an improvement on their estimate for April which was 542 units.CRISPIANNE3 said:

April UsageSymbio estimate: 332Actual usage: 142And that folks is why you should always opt for a monthly fixed DD

Someone has posted on Trustpilot that when Symbio reconcile energy estimated and energy actually used during each billing period, when they process the inevitable 'refund of units' they are not refunding the VAT already paid, is this true? Comment below:
"Has anyone else noticed that when Symbio reconcile the bill they only refund the unused units at the tariff rate and do not refund the associated Vat that was collected when they estimated the bill. I am assuming that they should also refund the Vat element."
