  • Ooooo. I've been to Waterstones this morning and got the book for £8.99.:j :j
DH says I don't need another cook book and he's right as I've had to downsize the recipe books to get them all in the cupboard.

There's nothing like a new recipe book for firing up your enthusiasm, unless of course it's the chat on the Money Saving Old Style board. I love it.

I believe this is the last day that Waterstones have this book at this price, but it is online at the moment with free UK delivery.:D

I ordered this book and Nigellas express as a reward to myself for being a good person ;)

The Potters Loaf on page 202:confused:

Wanted to have a go at this but unless I'm blind I can't actually see how much flour to use:confused:

You have a good point. I've just rushed off and got my copy that I picked up from the library and.... no weights for flour.

I emailed the peeps at good granny to ask them about the missing flour quantity and got this as a reply
the omission has been rectified in a recent reprint. The flour quantity is 750g. Also, in the recipe for Cauliflower, ½ pint of milk has accidentally been left out of the ingredients list.

so I'm off to manually update my book now :D
