How do I word a SAR letter to PPS (Premier Parking Solutions)?
Is it worthwhile after all this started back in August 2016 or do I send the SAR to bw legal.

Sorry, I have been chasing links around from the Newbie thread and I just seem to be going around in circles.
How do people get in such a tizz when all they need to do is search the thread?

Simply click CONTROL & F and search the thread for the word SAR...
people have been talking about this Letter of Claim and that I should not ignore it, but then others say, do not fill in the forms. Sorry I am just totlally confused by the whole thing.
How does not ignoring it and sending a holding letter (& SAR to the PPC scumbag), make you think ''don't fill in the forms'' is somehow wrong or conflicting advice.

Both are correct and not conflicting. Do not fill in the finance/reply form.

Where in the section about a SAR do I tell you to fill in forms?! I don't.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry, I have been chasing links around from the Newbie thread and I just seem to be going around in circles.

I am no longer the owner of the vehicle that this refers too.

How do I find out exactly what they are talking about when they say 'unauthorised parking'.

As I say, people have been talking about this Letter of Claim and that I should not ignore it, but then others say, do not fill in the forms. Sorry I am just totlally confused by the whole thing.

you email the SAR to the DPO at PPS

you send a LBC REBUTTAL to B W LEGAL same as all the others on here have done

you DO NOT fill in the forms that came from B W LEGAL, you are sending the rebuttal INSTEAD

not being the owner or RK of the vehicle is irrelevant, all that matters is you were at the time of the pcn

the SAR reply from PPS should have all the paperwork and data and include the "transgression" as the reason they issued the original INVOICE
  • I did put another post on here, but it seems to have disappeared.

I am about to send a SAR letter to PPS, using the format below.
I am also going to send a letter of Rebuttal to bw legal.
Thank you all for helping, I realise i am not the best at this sort of thing, and appreciate your patients.

Instead of asking for the data they have I would be a bit more robust and ask for all and any data they hold on you and the vehicle. A couple of extra words can make a difference.

In regards to the LBC you need to respond robustly denying their claim. If their claim is vague point that out to them. Sadly there are not templates for this as each claim is slightly different. You do not return the forms they sent as your financial situation is none of their business unless you want to pay up and set up a payment plan. You don't want to do that.

Thank you WAAMO - I have no intention of informing them of my financial situation.

They are so vague in the description of the Contravention: Unauthorised Parking.
Should I ask for an exact reason, included in the SAR letter to PPS?
Once I know exactly what they are on about, I can defend it.

A SAR is purely a request for information held.

Tell them their claim is vague in the rebuttal to the LBC.

Is this OK for the rebuttal letter to bw legal?

The Contravention Description: Unauthorised Parking is extremely vague.
Can you please explain in more detail of exact the reason for the PCN.
The original parking tickets, are available, if the contravention is relevant to those tickets.
The picture of the vehicle entering the car park at xx:xx:xx on the xxth July 2016.
Original ticket purchased at xx:xx expired at xx:xx on the xxth July 2016.
Second ticket was purchased at xx:xx on the xxth July 2016.
A period of 5 minutes overrun on the first ticket – well within the period of grace allowed.
Another picture shows the vehicle leaving the car park at xx:xx:xx on the xxth July 2016.
The 2nd ticket expired at xx:xx on the xxth July 2016.
The vehicle left the car park 20 minutes before the second ticket expired.
Both tickets have the VRN printed on them.
Can you please explain exactly the contravention.
    Thank you

There was also the problem that I could not completely exit, because there was an Ambulance on an emergency which restricted my exit, I have proof of this Ambulance being there at that time. But i havent mentioned this, because at the moment I do not know the exact 'contravention' they are on about.

Thank you again - should I attach pictures of the tickets and the e-mail I received from the Ambulance Authority?

So other then that the letter is OK?

I would show any evidence now. If it goes to court they see it anyway. If they see it at an early stage they can't pretend they didn't know when they are having a judge shout at them.
