Days 9&10/16 are all done. I had braised beef with ginger. It is a recipe from Good food (on their website). It isn’t a soup recipe but I changed the stock quantities and the beef shredded easily after cooking so it was perfect for lunch :p.

    Hello all!
This is a great idea and somewhere I could save a lot of money! :D

I work Monday to Friday and never bring my lunch in.
I go out for lunch at least once a week which costs around £14.00.
Other days I usually go for something around the office, anywhere between £3.50 and £5.00 per day.

Simple maths and an honest look at my spending would have me spend approximately a STAGGERING £140 per month for a 20 working day month.
    Wowzers!!!

    This definitely has to stop!
Including today (20th Feb) there are only 7 working days left of the month so I make that out to be approx £44.00 in normal spending.
Let's see if I can be really good and cut that back!

Today's spend on lunch will be £1.49 on Aldi Mushroom and Rice fresh soup, an apple and a banana.

    Have a lovely day, all!

I'll stop it though and eat at the office when we get back :)

Day 12 done, made myself rather a nice salad, I noticed my car insurance was due for renewal next month so did a bit of research and will now be £13 a month better off so all in all a good day x
Worrying won't stop bad stuff from happening, it just stops you from enjoying the good.
