Pigpen you have my sympathy. I am sat here at work with barbed wire in my throat, nose already sore and only been blowing it for half an hour. Every bit of me is starting to ache, infact my teeth feel like they are throbbing in my mouth! I sooo want to go home and hide under the duvet but its probably better being at work as no-one is here, at home theres DH and the kiddies to look after.
Not much flying done before I left for work. Took clothes of airer so now have ironing (damn should have just left them on the airer:rotfl: ), cleaned loo, put some of kids stuff away and made bed.
Got to walk to the other side of town to do a viewing later too:rolleyes: . May stop at somerfield and see what wonder drug I can dose myself up.0 -
Can I join in please?
Since I had my second daughter my housework has literally gone to the dogs (even tho we dont have any pets).
We had a lot of problems with her being a preemie and in hospital for 4 weeks, then we moved house, and to top it all hubby spent 18 months getting bullied at work before he transferred his job and we moved again.
We been here for nearly a year and I still have boxes to be unpacked! HELP!!!
Reading here has given me the inspiration to do more and hopefully get myself back to the way things used to be. Maybe I can lose some weight at the same time!

Welcome bonsibabe.. the more the merrier!! I have boxes still unpacked from 2.5 years ago when we moved here.. and 10.5 years ago when we moved into our last house.. lol... I've had prem babies too so fully understand! Take it one day at a time.. and don't try to do too much in one day.. it is just demoralising to play 'catch-up'.. so if it doesn't get done.. don't worry it'll come round again!
cuppa.. then I WILL move.. I WILL!!
Shell .. I hit the hard stuff straight away!! I just stick with the idea if I am not functional noone will get looked after.. so I see to me first.. usually means I rattle.. but hey-ho!! at least I don't snot in peoples dinner!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Thanks pigpen - both my daughters were prem but DD1 was no problems, with DD2 they said she had a heart murmur, then it was a problem with her heart valves so we spent 6 months wrapping her in cotton wool only to be told there was nothing wrong with her heart! Then she was supposedly deaf in one ear and now she is at pediatrics to see if she has growth problems cos she is 3 and half the size of other 3 year olds (DD1 is average in every way). So the last 4 years have been fun (not!).
Now we are kind of settled, DD1 ina school she loves and DD2 in pre-school so I have 4 hours a day and since she started I have struggled to get anything done.
But starting now am determined that by Christmas I will have the house the way I want it and it will stay that way.
To top that all off am going to start making my own bread and cakes and stuff - sick of throwing money down the drain on stuff for the kids lunches that is so full of additives and sugar. At least i will know what they are eating lol.
But thank you for the encouragement - it makes me feel better knowing that there are others out there who understand what its like!
