The jury's still out on Janice Dickinson, not quite sure whether I like her or not, she's a bit in your face for my liking but good TV and that's what I want.

I'm feeling a bit irritable today and all out of sorts. hopefully a bit of cleaning may put me right. I'm gonna take it for granted that it's the living room so I'll get started in there, it's not too bad so wont take long.

my list:

hoover through TWICE! :mad:
make beds
put a couple of dishes in the DW
wipe benches down
put bin out
living room
wash TV
wash other units
water plant
hoover under furniture
mop
wash down settees
go over the floor with the mop

Will add anything else I find along the way later :wave:

GNB - Sorry couldn't remember her name!! I've never seen or heard of her before. Its early days yet and my first opinions of the celebs tend to change as I "get to know them" (I'll let you know what I think of her in a few days )

I've really got to get moving and stop lurking on here - suffice to say my hair is still wet :rolleyes:

Hi everyone. Welcome newbies. Thanks Pigpen and hello lil_me

I feel like a bit of a stranger here - I post maybe once a week and then lose focus on the house . . . and it's showing.
Manic Monday- Kitchen and Dining Room
Level One
Clear and wipe those surfaces, even if around things! DONE
Level Two
Clean floors
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, wipe any spills
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary) DONE
Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe & replace small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards.. DIRTY ONES DONE
Check those washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher filters
Extra Mission
Choose one or more of:

• Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms SILLS DONE
• Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk! TAPS DONE
• Check through any storage tubs, any past the use by, tubs with no lids that need flinging? Make sure you leave what you have tidy!
• Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
• Check the freezer, see what you have which needs using to make room for Xmas goodies

Also did groceries, worked at job no. 1, helped OH mow school, picked up 2nd hand microwave to give to one of the boys.

And what I did today - Tuesday
Walked Arsha
Two loads of washing
Job no. 1
Bought new duvet inner and cover for DS2 bed
Folded and put away washing
Made DS2 bed up, ready for him to come home tomorrow
Job no. 2
Dinner
Updated finances

Tomorrow - Wednesday - I'm away for the day to pick up DS2 from Uni and bring him home for the summer :j :j That will see me leaving home about 8am and getting home about 7-8pm . . so no flying will be done!

Typical - comes back on 5 minutes before I have to go to work!

Had hair cut today, vacuumed through downstairs after. Asda shopping delivered and all put away. Spent another hour in DD's bedroom, dusting all the ornaments etc. and generally tidying up. Think I need one more hour to finish.

Did my bedding today, dried two loads on the line, dusted bedrooms (I vacuumed them yesterday).

Think I'm making up my own lists this week! Ah well, as long as I'm doing something.

Assuming it would be the front room today..

Decluttered and vacuumed the front room and sofas.

I HAVE to do the mantelpiece though.. might do that later.. it is a junk shelf at the moment and getting on my nerves!

I also need to file all my bits of paper.. governor bits and SEN bits and the parent partnership bits!

Extras..

Backroom.. dejunked the junk heap in the corner.. sorted the ebay stuff.. found the floor and vacuumed it.. I even dragged the pc desk out and did under that!! Still have the top of the sewing table to find though.. but it is half done!! That's a grand start!!

I found my rocking chair under the junk inthe corner.. and if anyone knows why I have 4 pc case sides in the corner and an 8ft length of quadrant please feel free to tell me!

Emptied all the bins from upstairs

It looks much nicer in here now.. I just hope I am as motivated tomorrow.

yea! site's back!

DS2 spent 30mins washing floor. Well, one spot on the floor, and I hoovered. That's about it.

Oh waily waily waily!! Lost my glasses so I can't actually read what I'm typing...

Dinner is on. I need :coffee: and DS2 swears he has not pooed, even though he smells of poo.

Yay it's working, not stopping long as I've just got back in from parents evening and decided whilst we still have our shoes on to go and do an errand, but had to check here first lol, I'm frightened to log out now incase it's not working when I get in again ta-ra :wave:
