Morning everyone
So far I have laid another two lots of tiles, the kitchen floor is just about done. I need to get a new carpet/tile thingy before I can do the bit up to the door to the hall. Looks pretty good so farThink I am going to mask off each tile before I grout so need to get some masking tape as well.
Just looked at Argos again to see if they have the bits I want in stock and grrrr they haven't got them all so I won't be able to take advantage of the £5 voucher for a £50 spendCould have collected them on the way to get the carpet thingy as well. Double grrrrrrrrrr

Right, just a quick stop in while I finish off my hot drink I've had with lunch (yes I'm having lunch at a sensible time today :rotfl: ) Not done the official list yet but have done:
- Dailies
- Beds
- Bathroom S&S
- Dishes - 1 more to do which is pans from last night and brekkie /lunch dishes
- Wash load - 1 in, 2 to go
- Cleaned livingroom window outside - once with vinegar/water then again with stardrops...yes it was that bad
- Swept pavement clear of sycamore seeds  Just put them all in the gutter though - I'm not messing around putting them in my bin as there's already more
- Cleaned brass
- Cleaned front door
- Demoulded kitchen and unfortuantely bleached the blind in the process
Guess it's going to have to come down and be trimmed
- Attacked the garden/yard - filled 5, yes 5 binbags with rubbish  Mostly leaves and sycamore seeds again, but I've also cleared out the flowerbeds of all bedding plants that shouldn't be there
- Cleaned Kitchen window inside & out.
- Had lunch
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 - Dailies

I am making such s-l-o-w progress today!
but
I have a bath full of oven shelves, and bicarb and washing up liquid paste all over the inside of the oven. Which is the first time for ages, so I expect a modest ripple of applause. Maybe better wait until I rinse it all off, and get all the shelves back in the right place!
Just had coffee and now I'm about to do the units and worktops...
Update later. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I've had terrible trouble getting on here today - is it just me? Might clear my cookies after/if I post this.
Anyway, afternoon all. Was morning when I started....
Two loads of washing out, including throws from living room. Lovely and sunny but blooming cold.
Did everything in the kitchen except clean the oven - and I'm still not doing it
Damp wiped the living room and vacuumed all through downstairs.
Got under DD's bed and pulled everything out. Vacuumed underneath and then sorted through stuff. Only a small bagful of rubbish but I've put everything back more neatly so it looks better. Nowhere else to store it so it had to go back. Anyway, tidy until she gets back from holiday next Sunday and starts unpacking. Found the perfume she had been looking for!
The parcel I have been waiting for (estimated delivery 8th Nov) finally arrived this morning so I might wrap that this afternoon and that will be all Christmas presents wrapped. No cards written yet though. Plenty of time0 -

Washed all the dishes - DH haad washed the dishes Sunday night and left all the pans which I didn't realise until last night:rolleyes:
Made lunches for today
Quite enjoyed my first day at work yesterday and I wasn't too shattered when I came home.
However, I got in the car to take the kids to school and it wouldn't start. So I walked to school with the kids, rung my mate to ask her to wait for me at school and then run me to my new job. It's a good job I hadn't got to start until 9.30 because it was my first day!
Right I'm going to try to do 1 or 2 bits before I get ready for work.
Hugs to everyone
Glad we're back up this morning
I'll catch up with you tonight

I'm so glad the site's back up and running, I get all tetchy when it's not lol woke up this morning with a dry sticky icky mouth from breathing through it all night - yak! I hate that about colds!
I could do with making a start on wrapping my christmas presents too Pollybear - I think you've just inspired me, I'd love to be all done and dusted.
Managed to get all my list done yesterday except the kitchen window, it may go on todays list. Wardrobe people were frickin useless, I know they're telling me a pile of crap you'd think they'd at least not be so obvious with it, I want my plinth! the bloke said I wouldn't even notice if it wasn't on, erm not the point, mate! I've paid for it (kinda) and I want it! sheesh some people!
It seems a couple of degrees warmer today, I didn't shiver when I threw the covers off this morning :j Will post my list later x0
