I wondered why there weren't many pages on here and when I read through saw the site has been down. I'm glad I wasn't aware of that so I didn't develop a nervous tick. Just done laundary and cleaned all the floors today as been busy. Hope to catch up more tomorrow as another early night for me. Take care xxJanuary budget

Great intentions gone out the window as I now feel exhausted. Might flick between Jungle and Gordon and then up to bed - see you all tomorrow when I shall be playing our favourite game - catchy upey. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Hi everyone,
Not been on for a while, finding the time difference very weird. I don't know how Denise does it!
I've managed to clean the bathroom and hoover.
I'm not sure if I'll manage to do the rooms on different days or if I'll just clean as needed. As DH is working nights it means keeping quiet in the mornings and having him around the rest of the time....
And I have no clutter....it might just take me a few weeks...as its a rented it means cleaning other peoples dirt...which I'm struggling to want to do!!0 -
JulieJim, hope your not too shaken and that the car gets sorted out!
Not done very much today, but big kudos to hubby who did the dishes for me!
Poor DS2 been sick in his bed, so I am fighting the urge to call NHS direct to get him an out of hours appointment. Hubby says I'm over reacting... but his cough is bad, and the top of his wee nose is blue... and I'm worried! Have promised myself I will only call if he is back up or gets worse... *bites finger nails*
Hubby is tutting at me now... 'lets watch this DVD'.... Rush hour 3.. I so need popcorn to save my nails...0 -
Really glad that the site is up and running, have done very little flying although I did hoover the sitting room.
I intended to do loads and loads of washing, however a friend mended the machine and tested it, ran a washload, quick wash, then tried a hot wash for towels!! Now the machine isnt working and is full of wet towels the door opens and the machine won't spin or even do anything! Arrgh arrgh.
Hope all is Ok with little Matthew and that those that need a hug and those that are now venturing into new adventures know that we are thinking of them.SPC £500 well will try very hard.

JJ he is 2 and a half.
I know if I phone they will see him as he a history of chest infections.
And that makes me panic every time he gets a cold!
Yes, I'm googling and clicking through NHS direct online... His lips aren't blue and he isnt wheezing... though he never does... What am I like? I panic with him, I'm an over anxious mother!
If he does not go tonight, he will see GP tomorrow. Decision made.0 -
Tia - if it's worrying you that much take him tonight, otherwise dose him up, keep an eye on him and take him tomorrow!
You're not an over anxious mother, you're just a loving mum like the rest of us!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Tia.. chill!!! My DD1 had recurrent chests infections.. she was actually BORN with a chest infection.. which is practically unheard of as it has to be a germ which causes it and she had the snot and the wheezy chest and the cough and everything.. She had pneumonia 3 times, one time she had it 3-4 months and bronchiolitis about 1000 (it certainly felt like it!) In fact she was NEVER well!!!! I stopped giving her AB's when she was 3.. she had the most HORRENDOUS chest infection of all.. while getting her back teeth.. VERY late!! I stayed up with her nigth after night and she was never ill again!! Apart from the occasional cold or bug. Most children have a vein over the top of the nose whic makes it look blue anyway.. and if he is tired and just strained to be sick it will be more prominent. NHS direct is a farce, there have been more than enough lives lost through their incompetence and delays!!.. if you feel he needs to be seen 'right now' I'd just take him straight to A&E or phone the GP direct. I used to cough myself sick when I was little as well!! Hope he is feeling better by the morning... and tixylix is the bestest thing I've found for coughs in tiddlers!.. (usually (in my house) combined with nurofen and medised as well!)LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
