  • Morning All

Got up about half hour ago, it was lovely to stay in bed longer than normal. i still woke up at 6.45am but dropped back off again.

Dinner is in slow cooker. Then me and DS need to sort ourselves out and go to hairdressers. When we come back we are going to tackle this cleaning. I've printed list incase site goes down today so I got no excuses :rotfl:

JJ - Hope you ok and get car sorted
Tia - Hope your DS is better this morning

:grouphug: to all that want/need them.

    See you later

It is advertised in the local press apparently?? I dont even know what my local paper is so how is this helpful? A very weird system:confused:

    Morning all

Only one load of washing today- out on the line, but not moving.

I did my bedding yesterday. The only thing I haven't done from Tuesday/Wednesday is the stairs. I keep forgetting them. Will do them tomorrow when the vacuum is out again.

Finished DD's bedroom this morning, just had one corner left to sort out and dust. Wonder how long it will stay clear when she gets home....

Wrapped up the last Christmas present which wasn't delivered until after we'd wrapped the rest. Had some Christmas foodstuff with yesterday's shopping order so that's gone in the understairs cupboard (where we cleared a space on Sunday).

I wonder if we'll get a turkey this year? Supposed to be having DD's free one (from work) but it looks like they are going to be in short supply. Might order a frozen joint of some kind to keep in the freezer so at least we'll have something to roast!

Good morning (just). Well, all my clients have cancelled today so i've lots of time to fly. I'm also going to redo all my forms for work and do a bit of an audit which should help expand my business a bit in the new year. Before that i'll have some lunch I think. Hugs to all...speak later xx

  • Missed having a list yesterday but more or less guessed what it would be. Don't like having no MSE but at least it gave me extra time yesterday to give DD's bedroom a good sort through. Managed to list some ebay stuff for Mum and myself too. Also just about finished Christmas shopping although my credit card bill to pay in December is going to be huge  .

[STRIKE]E-mail a freecycler to come and pick some stuff up[/STRIKE]
Do an hour or so in the attic.

Glad it's main bedroom as our wardrobes really need a good sort though. Also need to continue with the attic - it's taking forever as each little part I sort produces loads of other tasks - eg ebay, freecycle, just sorting stuff into the right boxes, also came across tons of photos that should really be in albums so got that to do. Need to look for bric-a-brac for my Mum for Children in need on Friday as well. Already got rid of loads of body / hand lotions from gift packs - wonder what else I can find???

DS2 was up and down coughing most of the night, but I managed to not rush upto A&E or anything, mainly because you could see he just wanted to sleep. Got him an appointment at GP for 3.30pm.

Went back to bed with him at 10.30am, slept till 12.30pm and only had a few weird dreams, must have been needing it! He is now camped on the sofa (still in jamies) watching cbeebies and drooling a lot.

I hoovered! thats about it! Oh, and made us some lunch.

gunsandbanjos They do that here too, must be a Scottish thing, I hate it! DS1 almost missed out on his first pre-school year because you are just not told! My SIL got a letter threatening legal action because she didn't know to register my niece at school! How much would a letter cost? Probably less than they spend on one big-wig meeting!
