I’ve seen a two bedroom flat that’s close to unis etc on the market for a very attractive price.
As I’m new to house buying and possibly want to buy to let (it’s within my cash buy) what’s the catch? It’s been on the market for a few months

It'll be the wallpaper in the 2nd bedroom. Amethyst is a very 1990's colour.0 -
Have you taken a look at the property in person? As the images may look much better than how it does in real life.
Other than that, lease could be an issue (as someone has mentioned)0 -

I'm going to guess a short lease and when you investigate you'll find out it's actually overpriced considering that.
