You are doing very well in getting that debt down. I hope you manage to clear the credit card before the 0% deal finishes or at least that the balance is less so the transfer fee wont be as high. Thanks for dropping by enthusiastic saver, just checked the 0% deals on my banking app.
The CC balance is broken down in to:
£1555 0% until Jan 2021 - will need to work hard to achieve this but seems doable.
£1344 0% until Dec 2021 - should easily be able to clear it, long before the deal ends.
Confession time - I have splurged on a new parasol for the garden, a larger one that actually allows me to get some shade (my garden is a sun trap, full on sun from about 11am until sunset and I hate to sit out in it, since I got sun stroke 2 years ago - never want to feel that ill again)
I've spent a good couple of hours today reading my book under the new parasol in complete shade...this is cheesy but it was genuinely blissful.

Thanks for popping by @Sarahwithlove I've not approached this journey as strictly as others may have, there have been a few treats along the way but if there wasn't I am sure I wouldn't be as far along as I am.

I haven't found your diary in a while but I have today. Well done you. You're really focusing on the positive and keeping your head in the game. I don't know that I would have done in your position and I definitely know other people that would have reignited the fire to create more debt.
I think your credit card sounds like a great challenge. Especially now the relative is paying you back (hopefully). That's 9 months to clear the £1500 odd. That's less than £200 a month. You can definitely do this. Keep going!
Hope for the news of you getting back to work soon xxxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Thanks for stopping by @Kitten868
It's super tough to stay on the straight and narrow, so many temptations keep popping up but I am starting to become reluctant to spend money so easily.
Lockdown has helped a little, in the sense that I haven't spent a fortune by multiple trips to the supermarket (I've been lucky to get delivery slots) Both Mr FTD and I are slightly higher risk due to pre-existing conditions and ongoing illness from prior to covid.
Although we have spent more money on Amazon & other online retailers buying things to do (like puzzles/colouring books/kindle subscriptions etc) it feels like we're doing ok though.
I don't think I will be back at work anytime soon but Mr FTD will be returning to work soon (albeit working remotely).

Payday in the FTD household, I'm thinking of making my card payment today or Monday (most bills go out on the 1st) instead of waiting until nearer the payment due date, looks like I can chuck £300 towards the credit card bill this month and in other good news the millstone loan drops to the £3k bracket on Monday...too excited about this.Wobbling my way out of debt one month at a time
