  • I've slipped down to the 6th page!!
Life in the real world is pretty tough at the minute, grateful for the dry weather here today, wandered around an NT property (we're members so only fuel cost to consider) it was lovely to see the autumnal colours.

  • Only down to page 8 so not too bad, just holding out for pay day this week, the last one this side of Christmas.
There's a little bit of buffer in the bills account but instead of putting it to the CC, I'm going to use it to top up the Christmas savings as we've also got a couple of weeks off so know there will be more spends than usual.
Things in the real world remain tough, hence the radio silence but rest assured I'm still reading and trying to stay on the straight and narrow. I've also taken some time away from bright screens in favour of reading and self-care.

  • Thanks cmd, I'm hopeful of improvement soon but I think there's a long road ahead.
Today's update allows me to update the signature for my loan and card amounts and as I had hoped come January 1st I'll be in to the 6k bracket for the loan :j

  • Happy New Year Fellow Debtbusters!! :T

Thanks for visiting again CMD, just like that Christmas is over - luckily it passed without too much drama, although I was ill for most of it - starting to feel better now though.

Thought I best pop in and update my numbers, one is really good and one not so much
1 - the loan is finally in the £6k bracket :j
2 - the credit card has gone up to £3.4k

Sadly I had to use my CC to help a relative out, this is where things have been super tough in the real world. The payments are still affordable for now and our contracts on our mobiles end in a couple of months so hoping we can reduce those bills and put the extra money towards paying off the card. I'm still managing to squirrel away savings as well so it's not all bad.
