None. Don't need mobile banking, desktop internet banking or a (very occasional) branch visit does it all for me.
I think this job really needs

    I have 4 total

Barclays (which allows me to view Lloyds, Halifax, Nationwide, Nat West and my Barclaycard) plus 3 which can't currently be viewed in the Barclays app - First Direct, Tesco and TSB.

    This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."

You can view First Direct and TSB in the Tandem app.

You should be able to view your Tesco accounts as well, but it doesn't work properly for Tesco. No great hardship assuming your Tesco balance is normally £6000 ;-)

    Starling, Monzo.

My savings are elsewhere but I don't need an app to manage those.

Is Curve a banking app? If so, also curve.

I hardly ever use the full desktop internet banking sites now that apps do everything I need quicker and easier. I use fingerprint ID to get in all of them except MBNA and I'm sure they won't be long before they catch up and add it.

It makes updating YNAB much quicker too, I have YNAB open on the ipad and go through the apps on the phone. Done in minutes.

Is there an advantage to using the app rather than just logging into the website via the browser?
I find the apps much quicker and simpler to log into, if I just want to quickly check balances, check for transactions etc.
Even when sitting at my computer, if I just want to, say, check my credit card balance, I'll reach for my mobile and use the app, rather than log into the web site.
  • I like the apps for their simplicity and the fact I can use my touch id on my phone to log in which is quick and easy. I have five overall, Santander and Santander wallet to analyse expenditure, Tesco and First Direct. I also have clear checkbook on there to record spends.

I have 9 on mine. Some banks have more than one account. I like the ease of apps, the fact I can transfer money as needed between accounts as needed rather than having it sat for days in an account not earning interest.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.
