Day 2/21
£10.87 in my purse
Breakfast - toast
Lunch - soup and bread roll
Dinner - kievs with new potatoes and baked beans
Can't see me needing to spend anything else today (maybe the odd can go into my penny-a-day challenge). So I have £10 so far towards Saturday's meal.
With a discount voucher and a gift card voucher coming off our bill last night we were left with £1.16 to pay :rotfl:gotta love a bargain!£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

Day 3/21
£20.00 in my purse
Breakfast - boss bought us bacon rolls
Lunch - pot noodle, comfort food, really fancied one!
Dinner - burgers, chips and beans (completely unhealthy day!)
So I have £20 out of the £30 I'll need for the meal tomorrow with no other spends planned today. If I use tomorrow's £10 to take me up to the £30 required then I'll have to "borrow" out of Sunday's £10 for my portion of the service charge - I'm still undecided as to whether this is worth it or not£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

Did you go for the meal. Im hoping you did in a way as the last diary you did shows your disciplined enough to save the money back. Its just the wrong way round for your method as you would have had to bring forward a day which is probably what had you undecided.
Either way I hope you enjoyed the theatre. !Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Saturday - day 4/21
£30 in my purse
Late breakfast/brunch - made pancakes
Dinner - duck croquettes and half a roast chicken - and plenty of prosecco
I did decide to go for the meal in the end as it's a group of friends who haven't all of us got together in a long time. I "borrowed" £5 from Sundays £10 for my portion of the service charge - I feel a little naughty but I'm back on track already.
Theatre was amazing thanks neverending - I had a really great time so I'm glad I went for it.£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

Sunday - day 5/21
£5 in my purse
Late breakfast - toast
Dinner - made a chicken curry in the slow cooker and had it with rice and naan bread
Can I just say - slow cooker liners, changed my life. Instead of fighting with the pot to scrub it or angling it into the dishwasher and nothing else fitting in around it these bags line it and are disposed of afterwards. Maybe not very MSE but they are only £1 for five! If they were £1 each I'd think twice but at 20p each I think they're totally worth it.
Anyway - a day indoors doing chores. Another dress sold on ebay - £29.99. I must get round to listing some more stuff on there, haven't done any for a few days.£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

Today - day 6/21
No spends yesterday so £15 in my purse today
Breakfast - cereal
Lunch - leftover curry and rice
Dinner - omelette, chips and beans
I have a little running round to do this evening including going to my in-laws house to get my FIL to smash my terramundi pot that I collected my penny-a-day challenge in last year. I'm still so proud I did this and kept it up the whole year and I'm a little ahead of myself this year too. Post office to post ebay items too (postage comes out of paypal balance so I don't take that out of my £10 a day).
Don't think I have any spending to do today so hopefully that £15 remains untouched.£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

*will deffo need a petrol top up at some point

*penny a day challenge
The family theatre trip next weekend it has been established will not involve a meal/drink before or after so at least I know now. I have reminded my OH that it's his dad's birthday so he can order a card & voucher online otherwise I end up paying for it and never getting the money back!£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

Tomorrow will be a bit of a strange day - I'm going to a conference for work so it will be a very early start and late finish. I don't travel well if I've eaten (especially when someone else is driving) so won't have anything in the morning just in case. Will then have to have something as soon as I get there and nothing else all day to let it settle if you see what I mean.
This means I'll be HUNGRY by the time I get home and I'm unsure what time that will be. May be a night for a cheap takeaway - within budget of course.£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

Glad you enjoyed the theatre and hope you get some rest before your long day. The thought of takeaway is making me jealous already.
Where do you buy your slow cooker liners from. I got a fiver from argos last week for downloading the app so i put it towards buying a new slow cooker. I had binned ours a while back as it made all my food taste the same...something to do with excessive casseroles when the kids were weaning. The liners sound like a good idea.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213
