You let them know this is your ADDRESS FOR SERVICE
To the claimant - append that, shpould the continue to use the old address, you will hold them liable for all costs and damages that may be incurred.
  • Hello
    I have submitted my defence.

What would the next stage be now?

Sorry to be a novice but what is a DQ?

    Kind regards

All explained in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2. Almost every question relating to the court claim process is explained there, with heavyweight input from legally qualified posters. It should be your Bible now as the claim proceeds.

Knowing what happens next, and in which order, puts you one step ahead of the game, not playing shocked catch-up after an event has occurred. Puts you on a much firmer footing towards success.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

There is a backlog in their admin systems, so I wouldn't overly worry. If you've submitted electronically, what can go wring! :D

  • Hello Everyone

I have filled out the DQ form correctly.

Do I scan the document pages and send them to both the court and the claimant company?

Or do I actually have to send hard copies?

    Thank you

Re-read post # 51 where KeithP tells you how to deal with the DQ and there is also information contained within post # 2 of the NEWBIE sticky.
